Brilliant test and worthy of a magazine article. As i know a number of the exhausts I have to add the Mick Abbey was not designed for a standard AR125 so not really comparable to the off the shelf exhausts. With the right tune, the MA would be far stronger than the results show. Always knew the Nikkon was a good exhaust. Are you testing the new FP ignition next?

Yes , I will also defend the Mick Abbey pipe. Not suited to this engine. However the MA does give the best power curve/shape and shows its a well designed pipe. The digital ignition would improve all of the results including the MA but its very time consuming to programme to each pipe so we will just programme the best 2 or 3 and then road test.

What’s the spec of the AR? Did you have to rejet much for each pipe?

great results for only 9000 rpm but that background music is terrible

Nice test there John, what is the spec of the engine ie still restricted or fully derestricted. I suspect its got a restricted cylinder, disc valve and pipe only with full airbox.

I very much doubt that; the restricted B versions are around 11-12hp stock. I'd wager this one has had the full works, de-restriction wise, if it's not an 'a' model originally.

    And stock exhaust?
