That was literally the age with the last shreds of souls and heart started in the 60s in electronic music. The only ones who managed to perpetuate the soul were pretty much the same pioneers until their last breath, although there are still a few today, very underground though, that are trying to break through the mediocrity. Examples: Caterina Barbieri, Jonathan Fitoussi, Ulises Labaronnie, Wojciech Golczewski, Lisa Bella Donna, Robin Ogden, Douglas Holmquist, also the fictional Kosmischer Läufer, the guys from Synphaera, even others. Unfortunately, as I said, you have to spend a lot of time digging to find something still meaningful and soothing.
