Better than how it was shown on "Cinderella" (2021).

you know, i still feel like it takes an awkwardly long time to transition from the sony corporation logo to the sony pictures logo, but this is a much better variant compared to the one previously used in cinderella 2021. would've been nice to see the purple clouds from the home entertainment version of the logo as the sony logo was zooming in, but this is fine.

@@kyempowell9627I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's the case. At least it's been ever since Vivo.

@@DannyMB24 I think it only for streaming service because when it comes to home media as in coming out on Blu-ray, the Columbia logo does shows up in Cinderella but when it not on Amazon. Even the Blu-ray of Fatherhood, while still credited the Netflix logo at the beginning, the Columbia logo show up first then Bron Studios and that it. They took out Obama’s company, Higher Ground, on the Blu-ray release due to connection to Netflix instead of Sony so it only a streaming service thing as well.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children was a Sony Pictures-only release but the film had no opening logos. Not even for Square Enix (the company that made the Final Fantasy games).

it is genuinely funny how a lot of sony's "moved to streaming" projects just... have the sony pictures logo on them. it's kinda like a mark of shame - "no, movie, you weren't _good_ enough for theatres - no columbia/tristar for you!"
    lol

…what if Sony Pictures had its own to release films theatrically separate from Columbia, TriStar, etc.

They also used the Sony Pictures label to release El Camino, Advent Children, the Resident Evil anime films, and the Metal Gear Solid digital graphic novels.

Columbia Pictures was credited, but its logo didn't appear in the movie as it is only under the Sony Pictures banner.

    • @AnthonyZ.

Sony doesn’t have their own video streaming service probably, so they mainly use Netflix. Have you seen The Mitchell’s vs the Machines, that was a Sony film.
