I was enjoying the lecture until I noticed some irregularities. 1) The Council of Nicea did not took place in 354 as Khalid said, but in 325. 2) Constantine did not turn christianity into the official religion of the Roman Empire. All he did was to give christians religious liberty across the empire and stop the systematic persecution they were enduring. The emperor who did turn christianity into the official religion of the Roman Empire was actually Teodosius I, in 380. 3) I could not find anything on this supposed allegation that the apostles rebuked Paul and that Barnabas had to help him flee Jerusalem. I was enjoying the lecture until I noticed some irregularities.
1) The Council of Nicea did not took place in 354 as Khalid said, but in 325.
2) Constantine did not turn christianity into the official religion of the Roman Empire. All he did was to give christians religious liberty across the empire and stop the systematic persecution they were enduring. The emperor who did turn christianity into the official religion of the Roman Empire was actually Teodosius I, in 380.
3) I could not find anything on this supposed allegation that the apostles rebuked Paul and that Barnabas had to help him flee Jerusalem. Is anyone can show me the evidence for that, I'll be very thankfull.
