  • Cadhay House was first mentioned in the reign of Edward 1 as a sub manor of the Manor of Ottery St Mary, held by de Cadehaye. The present house was probably built after 1545. There are four statues of Henry V111, Edward V1, Mary and Elizabeth, standing over the doors in the courtyard dated 1617. Interesting timber roof structure in John Hayden's Great Hall.
