      What about choice?
      I will show you 5 types of consumers;
      1. Ultra premium: cash no issue and want best of best....s21 ultra,s21,fold series.
      2. Online only value buyer- they will never buy any phone from retail shop because they know retail margin will cost more..eg. f62,m51 is for them. They know the specs in and out. For cheaper there is f41, m01 etc
3.Offline only average buyers : go to shop and ask for samsung middle range...not much idea about specs but want decent phone....a52, a72 for them.
4.Aspirational Enthusiasts....they want the best but ready to pay half price of premium....s20 fe 5g is for them.
      5. Future proof buyer....they look for 5G as main features...nothing else matter....for them m42 is offered.
Other brands are merely copying this strategy....brands have to make different model for offline and online market because online is always cheaper and they cant sell same device for different price in offline......so they make small modifications and sell as different model.
Brands are just trying to cater to everyones needs

    Dear Ranjit,
Let me start by saying "THANK YOU" for highlighting the "HYPOCRISY" of OEMs.
If I could keep it simple, I would say - You nailed it. The entire context in this video is very apt and to the point, and I resonate with every word you spoke "literally". These OEMs speak about Go Green but in reality they take NO Responsibility, but instead are largely responsible for exploiting natural resources, and of course trust of consumers. Adding onto this is their - under the carpet partnership with Govt. and Politicians. Its like, you scratch my back & I scratch yours. I think our earlier generations understood and valued creating reusable products and staying sustainable, and I truly respect their thought process on that. The concept of use and throw model to keep profits flowing in is so millennial. I really hope, the sense of awareness and responsibility to protect the planet must be endorsed by each and every individual working in every department, let it be Govt, Corporate or Us.
Thank you once again for speaking on this, much much appreciated. Bless You!

But bigger picture they can't see is all companies removed jack then introduced their wireless headphones. They're getting fooled by their business strategy. They're stealing more and more right over your own device.
If this continues, One day phones / tv will sell as a subscription. You don't own it, They can break it anytime with a software update.

Hi Ranjit sir, I have been following your channel for quite some time now and I must commend your bravery for calling a spade a spade, It is true that we are spoilt for choices when it comes to mid-range and high-end smart phones and a lot of it has to do with the Chinese Manufacturers getting into the game, a big reason i do not like the approach of most Chinese companies is that it's all about market capitalization for them right now MI users sit at 23% of Indian cellphone users, slightly behind Samsung at 24% a big reason behind flooding the markets with so many models of the same brand is to play the game of averages and capitalize the Indian markets, Allegations of data security with these devices have always lingered with such high-end hardware- specs being available at bargain prices which is again a major attraction for most middle-class buyers in India.

Btw the answer is very easy government should restrict the number of a specific devices to launch in a year. Let say 3 or four smartphone only. It will stop e waste and makes a phone better by focusing on one phone.

I just don't update to the latest version... research about the functionalities in the new update if it has something which is a deal breaker for you then and only then update the firmware. Most of the times the upgrades are not even used by us in our daily usage. So think before u update. My dad uses a Samsung S6 it still works like a charm. I have not updated the firmware even thought it pings very often to update.

This is a very pertinent issue. OEMs are behaving absolutely irresponsibly towards the environment. I hope a brand comes that centers itself around being repairable and sustainable. Good video.

But guys he talked only about “Right to repair your own smartphone” and “Apple certification” for repair he didn't talked about OEM's crippling software and letting us but a new smartphone..

I feel in this aspect Asus is doing an incredible job. Unlike other brands they're not flooding the market with unnecessary products and they're the only one who brought back everyone's favourite 3.5mm headphone jack which not even Samsung has the guts to do.
    Commendable job by Asus.

@@user-ti5fd3gs8z I know brother. The "Ultimate Variant" is focused on a very niche segment of users, but the regular and the Pro models are the ones that I think people should have a look over those 'Crappy, Overhyped and way Overpriced' OnePlus 9 series.
      Pros of ROG Phone 5-
✓ Display is far better that that of OnePlus 9 Pro.
✓ Benchmarks tell a whole different story. Seems like ROG Phone 5 is a whole entire generation newer device.
✓ Cameras of ROG Phone 5 are leaps and bounds better than those overhyped "Hassleblad" branded OnePlus camera.
      ✓ Has everyone's favourite 3.5mm headphone jack.
✓ Amazing set of powerful stereo speakers.
✓ Battery life is MILLIONS OF TIMES BETTER than OnePlus 9 Pro.
✓ Dedicated Armory Crate for tweaking game performance for gaming enthusiasts like me.
✓ Last but definitely not the least, it's way less expensive than the Crappy OnePlus 9 Pro or heck even less than OnePlus 9 for that matter.
      Pros of OnePlus 9 Pro-
      ✓ More Expensive😂

I dont understand why people are disliking the videos. Maybe they are ardent apple or xiaomi or one pous fans since he has taken their names. In my view he has criticised everyone here. Kudos to him for what he has said . I usually dont follow tech channels that reviews phones but he has impressed me. I will follow him from today. Thank u Sir for your stand.
