I don’t want to be rude or anything but in my Teto Chan!’s tuning is a bit robotic while DietMellun’s and Tanjoro Tiadana’s tuning is smoother. Don’t get me wrong, Teto Chan! makes great covers - I even have a lot of them saved on my favorite playlist - and i really like how she does the growls (in fact I think they’re fricking amazing) but I prefer the smooth, almost human like sounds in an UTAloid song
But this is just my opinion

I prefer this cover because her voice is so powerful and full of emotion and it reflects the message of the song better than the original.
Teto shows the most feelings in her voice out of all vocaloid and utauloid in my opinion
I feel like many more can achieve this sort of affect but I think it depends on the quality of the voice bank used, it’s limits and the person behind the tuning.
I feel there’s been many vocaloids / UTAU that have shown great emotion countless times, but some people class those covers as not good.
For example: I saw a fukase cover of “gomenne gomenne” the other day, and it was phenomenal. But because it didn’t sound beautiful and stable many people had a poor view on it.
But with songs like that, the vocaloid / UTAU isn’t meant to sound pretty. There meant to sound traumatised. And in pain. And as though their crying. You know?
I mean I will agree Teto’s voice is very emotive, and I love it very much, but there are many hidden gems in this fandom that don’t get recognition and it’s unfortunate

this is very underated. In my opinion Teto was always the best, someday she will beat Miku, Some Miku fans try to hate on Teto, but I personally liked Teto more then all of the vocaloids.
If Ritsu can't beat Teto despite having a superior voice and voicebank, Teto could never remove Miku from her place, neither could Gumi, not even IA.
Teto is the Queen of UTAU but never of virtual singers, it's Miku.
