Candy stripe… I haven’t heard that term in years. I was a volunteer Candy Striper for our hospital one summer when I was in high school. It wasn’t something I was really cut out for, but I was glad to have done it. It was basically a volunteer position of assisting people to various parts of the hospital when they arrived. The most stressful was when a pregnant woman arrived, and I had to wheel her over to delivery. I didn’t know where delivery was!!! 😱 Fortunately for me, she navigated us both successfully. 🤦♀️🤷♀️

Hi! I needed my "Janet fix" today, so here I am!!! Living near NYC, we used to see (AND HEAR) the Concord every morning coming into JKF airport! This was such a fun project!!! Very inspiring even though it's so rotten hot here!

Always SO fun to hang out with you all 💜🐾🇬🇧 I worry that if you softened the paper into momigami paper, it would not hold up to the manipulation or the sewing, it becomes quite fragile 🤷🏻♀🤔 though, per Dr. Google, it does say the end product is "flexible, durable and strong" (that must be with the layers of paint (?) and the starch used to make it properly. I didn't use starch, mine are not durable or strong) LOVE the seaside theme 🦀🌊☀🐬🐚🐠
