how i fight guardians: 1) walkers: hit them in the eye with arrows repeatedly. once their health is low enough, chop off their legs until they die. 2) decayed: shoot em in the eye, bomb them, or melee them. usually shoot them in the eye even though it's a massive waste of arrows 3) skywatcher: run. and cry.
bronzeowl9 skywatchers: let them come to you and nail them in the face with a Guardian Arrow. Easy as hell. Or better yet, use Revali's Gale to get right in their face or on TOP of them after using Stasis and fuck them up with a weapon.
bronzeowl9 sky ones... simple: Step 1: gather multiple bomb arrows Step 2: get a savage lynel bow with the x5 modifier *Note:* step 2 *IS* optional, but makes life easier Step 3: use revalis gale or the bomb arrows to make an updraft. "It seems like death couldn't hear your call" *deflects guardian laser beam* More like you couldn't answer Death's call! *dies seconds later* ....death is a persistent caller
Remember all the showcases this game had? Yea, you choose not to watch it, so you wouldn't "spoil" yourself. Well, that's what happens when you avoid crucial information.
Yeah, well you see, sometimes people like to figure out the game for themselves. Like, know literally nothing about it. And this guardian thing isn't "crucial information". It's very helpful. But it's not crucial.
Ok, you don't have to figure it out yourself too much, in the loading scenes, it explicitly said this. (Edit: It may have not mentioned guardians, but reflecting projectiles was in it.)
everybody is talking about the guardians and the call, but nobody is talking about how hes playing on the wii u, also the guardian called in some reinforcements
Guardian: Blasts highly advanced laser at Link. "Parry this you filthy casual." Link: With a random pot lid he found a few minutes after waking up in a cave. "Yes."
Is it possible to dodge / flurry rush the Guardians? I've got the parries down like 75% of the time, but it would be pretty badass to watch Link *dodge laser beams*, Matrix-style
I've never actually tried it, but I imagine you only get a chance to flurry rush when dodging a physical attack. It'd be pretty weird if you could dodge a laser from a mile away and still get a chance to do a flurry rush...
Big Core Mk X besides the physics behind a flurry rush is attacking right after a dodge to catch the enemy in that brief moment of defenseless but the guardians don't have a post attack weakness like everything that has a melee weapon in real life or video games
You can only dodge them if you are on even or higher ground than the Guardian, because the explosion is gonna make Link ragdoll if he is that close to it.
Parrying Stalkers is always fun. Because they take three parries to kill, you parry the first shot, then the adrenaline kicks in as you tell yourself, ‘Alright, just two more times. I can parry two more times...’
You gotta time it perfectly. As long as you start your parry the second you see that brief bright flash before the laser starts you'll parry it every time. Just make sure you don't hesitate.
Yeah I had seen a video about like "top ten things i wish i knew" and it showed that you can parry the attacks, so I parried it and I figured guardian arrows did the most since I only had like 3
Helpful tip: Press the parry button when you hear the beep right when the laser is about to explode. (This works when you are close, the laser does take some time to travel and the timing window is obviously really short)
It's pretty easy to do, just parry a second after their eye flashes. And if you have an Ancient Shield, you don't even have to worry about parrying. Just hold it up and it'll reflect for you
bruh. imagine failing to parry a death laser of pure technology with a shoddy wooden shield whilst being overwhelmed by bone creatures reanimated by dark forces and bats that are powerful in groups. Smh.

pff timing my ass. countering guardians are easy, all u gotta do is wait 4 da beep noise as they charge their laser and then parry
