- The Ira Welcome Deck is a fantastic way to learn how to play Flesh and Blood, but it's not a Blitz legal deck. In this video, we're going to make some changes and add some cards to turn this free product into a functioning Blitz deck - for just $10.

I just started playing FaB, and I gotta to say... you are my favorite TCG content creator. Amazing writing and editing. It shows that you pour your heart and soul into this hobby and as a viewer, I smile when I see you posted a new video. That's it, just wanted to tell you ty for the content.

Great deck upgrade. I would switch the bittering thorns with (red) Push the Point's though! It's a 1 cost attack that 90% of the time; deals 6 damage.
This card is dirt cheap (common) and works with everything else very well (kodachi's / razor reflex / even bigger then that).
This is definitely viable! I wanted to remove as few cards from the deck to make things as easy for people as possible, but there are definitely a lot of great upgrades that can still be made!

I might suggest an addition to the list - for some people:
Sub out:
2x Rushing River Blue
2x Crane Dance Blue
2x Head Jab Blue
Sub In:
2x Winds of Eternity
2x Hundred Winds Blue
2x Soulbead Strike Blue
The priciest of the bunch would be Winds of eternity being a Majestic - but other cards should still hold to a budget but block for 3 (Soulbead) or Combo in a pinch with Winds into winds of eternity.
You could also swap Hundred winds for Lord of winds , if you hold a budget, for a 100% 2 attack block 3 cards.
Then again, knowing SloopDoop, the video with mentioned upgrades to the deck is coming and probably in the works atm.

I don't have any plans to do a more serious upgrade video, but I might look into it depending on how this one performs. I just wanted to offer brand new players a super easy/cheap way to quickly turn a Welcome Deck into something that was at least legal and playable in Blitz

I think the deck is fine as is, for what its purpose is. I just wanted to give new players a quick way to turn the deck into a playable Blitz deck
so you can defend with a def reaction AND get the effect later THAT combat? or chain or what its called ? still learning many new things =)
Absolutely! Its a great way to defend against decks that go wide with lots of attacks. So while you wont utilize Flic Flak's ability against every hero, its just solid to have it synergize with the pitch cards added to the deck

This is awesome! Although non of my LGS had a welcome deck, do you know if they're still being made?
I do believe LSS plans to continue to print the Ira Welcome decks for the foreseeable future, so I would imagine it might just take a bit of time for a restock of them
The shipping on these videos always catches me off guard.
I like TCG Player because it's the easiest way to get consistent pricing.
I have never actually bought anything from TCG Player for obvious reasons

From me, no, but if you go on FaB DB and filter for Ira, you'll find tons of non-budget builds!

I've since changed to using Card Trader for pricing. I live in Canada and while TCG Player is nice for getting prices on everything, that shipping is why I will never actually buy them off there
@@Sloopdoop I'm also in Canada, is there a tcgplayer equivalent for us up here? I've been having a rough time going to every store website 1 at a time desperately searching for any amount of cards I need and only getting like the odd 1 here or there
