This is a great help to my gun animations, so now I make it have the mag pop out and the slide be pulled back for my game. Thank you. Short and simple. Best tutorial ever made
this video was so helpful, I kid you not I have watched hundreds of gun rigging tutorials and there was only one helpful one that I found, and it was this one.
That is also a good idea, but saving it in the model also saves time by not needing to add the bullets into the animation and having to find where you originally put it.
The problem may be that you are clicking *on the model,* meaning that you are selecting every part inside it. Instead, select *the parts inside the model* so that you can properly rig or weld it. To open up a model, open up the Explorer tool in the View tab and select your model. Then, just click on the arrow next to the name inside the Explorer. You should be able to select your parts from there.
The building tools menu is a plugin I use unrelated to Moon Animator. The plugin is called BTools, and I already have a few tutorials about it for you to use.

pretty sure using bullets outside of the model would be easier, since you wouldn't have to go frame by frame because of the gun itself moving

You need to either find a perfect one which is near impossible and place it on the rail of the rifle or model the whole gun on blender
