- Jaina and Gul'Dan have a Hearthstone match, and we get to see what it looks like!
I wanted to make an animation about one of my favorite games, Hearthstone, so this was the result. It was a very large and time-consuming project, but I had tons of fun with it and I'm elated that it's finally finished. Hearthstone/Warcraft fan or not, I hope you enjoy!

I can relate as a warlock player to that ending. xD The wrathguard (purple guy demon) cost him the battle, not just the ragnaros blow (die insect!), but that flamestrike to the guard hurts. I try not to sacrifice my female mistress to hellfire, but i can't help but chuckle when you pause it right before it hits her. xD

Sure, maybe, but my comment is short enough that you don't have to spend time reading much else if you're scouring the comments for shit. But you must've missed the part where the comment is purposefully short.
Yes it's short but it's not informative enough. Person with the longer comment had many points to tell buy it is not structured very nicely and lacks some elements that could make the pararaph shorter. Still, message received. Yours is just meh even though its obvious that you have quite the handle on the language.
I would only really feel my comment as "meh" when thinking on how my comment doesn't mention any negative aspects of the video. I feel like negative parts that could be mentioned are a matter of perspective, hence the lack of such a thing.

Really nicely done. I like the anime-styled fighting. It adds another dimension to the game that makes it feel about as intense as when you're actually in a match.
It's really nice, fun to see an actual battle of hearthstone in all it's epicness.

Pretty epic stuff! I somehow expected some kind of funny-satire kind of humour, so it surprised me it was... like, actually accurate. I think I recognised every card played (including the mistress of pain, yes) but now I'll go rewatch and try to calculate those damages to see if I can spot the 29 against Gul'Dan.
10/10, really good animation.
Well, I think I can see where the 29 damages are coming from, but I'm also wondering if you took into account that Mistress of Pain heals it's owner equal to the amount of damage it does. Considering the buff at the start of the battle, it should've been a 3/6, so when it attacked into the frost elemental that would heal Gul'Dan for 3 as well. Even if it was only a 1/4, it would still have healed for 1, and here is where I'm struggling, because I cannot see how Jaina did enough damage to counter that healing.
And before anyone comes and says "healing cannot go over maximum life", I think Gul'Dan uses his hero power on turn 3 (before summoning the demons), which would cause him 2 points of damage.
Awesome and job well done! I hope you got more Hearthstone battles featuring the other classes too. Maybe also just in time too to celebrate the new Knights of the Frozen Throne.

Turn 3= 3 damage from arcane missiles and the 3 damage from the wrath guard trade into mana wyrm +ping face?
Turn 4= 3 damage from flam imp but 1 health from mistress
Turn 5= 1 health from mistress
Turn 6= 3 damage from hell fire. Maybe mistress attacked into a taunt? Was not shown, so possible 1 health
Turn 7= 8 damage from rag, 2 self damage
Turn 8= 4 damage from flame strike wrath gaurd plus1 dread infernal suicide
Add all this up you get 27 damage whether you include the ping that could have happened. 28. If you include the possible pre hellfire mistress attack, 26. Did i miss 3 damage somewhere let me know!!
Ps why didnt jania ping first on turn 6., and flame waker pings mistress and flame jmp. And then she uses her two damage hero power on flam imp. Bad play by her.

Gul'dan might have also tapped at Turn 6, for another 2 damage. That would leave him at only 1 health for turn 8.

one practices fel and demonic magic (warlock) while the other practices dark magic and raising the dead (necromancer and Death Knight).
