In this episode we are taking out the controls in the dashboard, then the dashboard itselfs and after that remove the isolation on the floor.

Beautiful work on your movies .. . I like these cars so much, I bought 3 ..:)) . There is two plugs behind the cluster : blue (2wires) and brown one wire. Any ideas ? They are for automatic model? I can’t find a spot to plug them back .

I am working on reverse engineering the schematics so I can have a look if I already figured out the ones you refering to. they might be for cluster lights (first thoughts). What are you refering to as plugs? like connectors?

@@ReBuildItClassicandModernCars . No , two plugs (one pin each) they were from the automatic model , if the car is manual they still there (behind the cluster) . One blue , one maroon.

You broke the cluster screen.... next time remove steering column first

Jep, unfortunately that happened. Luckly I am going for a new design. First the F2x cluster and later maybe redesigned E24 cluster👍🏻

How do you take steering wheel off ? Do you need put key to "on " position? Please let me know..

Hi Alex, I did not put it into the on position. I was able to remove the steering wheel bij removing the nut and carefully pull it towards me. But maybe on the 2nd and 3th model it is different. I'm not sure about those sorry.
