@@Paperplayz. I agree too, though honestly season 2 part 1 didn't really amaze me too much. It wasn't bad don't get me wrong, just average. (Spoilers ahead)
It just felt really stale and linear to me. In season 1 you really felt that these characters live two separate lives, that feeling is somewhat gone in season 2. The Never Witch herself isn't really shown to be a proper threat until the part 1 finale. Sure, she managed to capture the entire Murky realm and the Sandman within it, but again, it's not shown to be a huge problem, we're only told that it's a problem while the story focuses its runtime on the character drama and the REM competition. The only thing she really did that affected the waking world was Cooper losing his tech skills. Compared to Nightmare King's ability to affect the waking world by effectively putting people into an enchanted sleep/coma, she again just doesn't appear to be a huge threat until the part 1 finale when she inprisoned all of nocturnia. I also didn't enjoy the way they brushed over Sneak just becoming a part of the waking world now other than one line. And I hate the evil Mateo clone plotline, the fact that he is obviously not Mateo visually yet his own sister was clueless until he blasted her to win a REM competition challenge broke the immersion for me. Ninjago had a similar episode in season 2, but there the writers at least incorporated the difference in look into the plot by having the evil ninja clones wear sunglasses which didn't fool Wu for very long as well.
Honestly, the retrospective episode which expanded upon the backstories of Mr. Oz and the Night Hunter (and Hannah), its rammifications on the story moving forward and in general the fleshing out of the main cast (especially Zoey, Night Watcher and Mr. Oz in that order) is what carried S2P1 for me. The main plot itself so far, as I said before, I would put as maybe just a tiny bit below average, but it's important to note that I won't be commiting to an opinion for the season until I see the entirety of it.

People really need to be patient. Part one of season 2 came out two months ago. Part 2 of season 1 came out after 4 months of waiting. Just give them some time, because if we get one season a year, it's because they don't want to burn out and oversaturate the market. You really want Ninjago hype to die after half of the year? Just wait.

While I do completely agree with you I think there's two issues one being the sets for part 2 come out next week (at least everywhere except America) with still no word on part 2 release date second issue being is it really that hard to give a release date and don't get the wrong idea I'll gladly wait but I reckon if lego could give us the month part 2 comes out about 2 weeks or a month after part 1 release then we would probably get less hate put towards lego and hopefully less fake leaks

It's a marketing thing. Lego probably already knows that people are going to watch Ninjago, thus they push Dreamzzz more.
Ninjago is being "neglected" because we as the fans already hype the show up enough for Lego. Dreamzzz doesnt have as many fans yet, and needs to support from Lego to prosper.

Honestly itâs not that Lego doesnât care about Ninjago itâs that Dreamzzz needs thatâs extra help because Dreamzzz fan base hasnât been formed yet.
If only Monkie Kid had distribution like dreamzzz, let's face it, it's the higher quality property, but it being Lego store exclusive is not helping.

Hello Tanner, greetings from Spain, I wanted to ask you a question and it is about what you said about the supposed release date of part 2 season 2 of dragons rising What they said was going to be done on July 2nd, I don't believe it, I think it will be in September but I have a doubt if it's supposedly going to come out in September.

First off I'm betting on part two being released in August just to have a similar release distance to last year. 2nd I don't think dream's is working the sets I imagine sell pretty well but the media kinda stinks and I think people are a little turned off because Lego already cancelled multiple themes and with the success of monkie kid I don't see dreamzzz lasting although I could be wrong again it's just an opinion.

I feel like dreamzzz it's trying so hard to include so many different concepts, being inclusive, and adding so many colors that it just feels a little crazy, while Ninjago when it came out was just a cool fighting show for boys that reaped its own rewards

I can understand why Lego hasn't been giving much attention to Dragons Rising right now like Dreamzz, it is a new series and will attract a generation of viewers. When the time is right, we will get footage for Ninjago Dragons Rising season 2 part 2.
Just wondering does anyone know about the Grasslands? In March of the Oni in the last episode at the end Lloyd goes to a place where he meets the First Spinjitzu Master. He is asked to follow him to somewhere or return back and forget that ever happened over time. Does anyone know where that would be and what does these all ment back then?
I honestly don't care about dreamzzz, im sticking to Ninjago. I might pick up a villain minifigure in a magazine if I like the look of them, but that's it. I'm really excited for the future of Ninjago and I have already pre-ordered the shatterspin comics.

Iâm a little worried about fans comparing Ninjago and DreamZzz. I, of course, love Ninjago. However, Iâve also come to like DreamZzz too. But hearing people say they donât like DreamZzz because âNinjago is betterâ has got me worried that it will affect the themes future like when Ninjago ended in 2013 and Legends of Chima premiered. Ninjago fans missed the show. And though Iâm glad it led to Ninjagoâs return, I feel like it may have led to the ending to Legends of Chima. Which is a shame, since I love that theme fondly. The same can be said about comparisons between Ninjago and Nexo Knights. It would be nice if all these great LEGO themes could coexist and not be treated like theyâre competing with each other.
I totally understand, the only reason this has happened is because most of us fans when we were kids specifically s2 was supposed be the last season and chima was supposed âreplace itâ and so that began the generational trauma we know today of ninjago.

I dunno. I hear what you are saying. I just feel like Ninjago COULD do more, and be more. I get that it will still be successful. But then, is it? I mean, it gets mocked a lot still, for being a 'kid's show' etc. It often has viewership dropping off. Many people don't take these things seriously still, even though it's proven that it's not 'just for kids', and is in fact a GOOD show. It not ever really getting any promotion I feel has harmed Ninjago. I can't help feeling that LEGO doesn't need to just keep pumping out all these new shows all the time, and instead focus more on a handful of ones it already has. The need to keep pushing for 'new' is a modern problem imo, and totally unnecessary. They could make Ninjago SO much more, and have it be a global phenomenon.

The reason why dreamz, chima, nexo knights failed is because theyâre a poor copy of ninjago and have zero creativity for their characters. Their dialogue feels cringe, the story is bland and the characters feel like Lego friends characters. The only good one that came out was Monkie kid (yet they still managed to mess it up by not putting the episodes and specials somewhere most fans can find) Lego can be creative, Lego dreams was a good idea but in the end it was executed poorly. Iâd much rather see Kai rant about being the green ninja for example then see a random emo kid rant about getting her lullaby taken by her father to make some kid of cursed song. Lego, not all of your fans are kids! Make better shows that are more original then a poor ninjago copy or a show that keeps referencing ninjago every season!

Now I have a crazy theory that's probably not even true but I have always been thinking about this. I generally believe that all the snake tribes are from Legends of chima and let me explain. In lego Ninjago there are 16 realms plus Ninjago so that would make it 17 and one of them is Legends of Chima. I believe when the first Spinjitzu Master was making the realms. The snakes we're supposed to be in Legend of Chima but I believe while he was making the realms he accidentally sent the snakes to Ninjago. The only reason why I'm saying this is because the snakes magically appeared from underground but I believe there's more to it.
Well the first Spinjitzu Master was creating Ninjago he accidentally affected the snakes to become a human form and the snakes from the legend of Chima or supposed to be the serpentine or the other tribes. Plus the design of Pythor on his chest there is a circular design and it kind of looks like where you put chi inside to activate his power but sense his kind was born in Ninjago. he was never able to activate his full power because his power is technically from The legend of Chima and not from Ninjago the same can apply to the other snake tribes.
Also I forgot to point out that if you looked at the other anacondrai they also have a circle design on their chest. So this makes me think that the anacondrai is supposed to be the main snakes of the serpentine and the other tribes are just Representatives. So this could be the reason why the other tribes don't have a circular design on their chest and will probably never be able to activate their full power but if any anacondrai found chi somehow. I believe they will be able to activate it making them very powerful and maybe a different form.
The last thing I'm going to say is that in the legend of Chima all the tribes have their certain technology making their society very advanced but in Ninjago none of the make tribes really have advanced technology to help them fight in a war while the surface dwellers or known as humans have that advantage of technology. I just like to say this is just a theory but I generally hope this is true because this would make it an interesting story in Ninjago and maybe more of a back story to the snakes.
