Thought I would give you a look at the planning for my new hobby room, still a long way to go before building starts but we have to lock in the final design in two weeks, so thought you might like to see where I have landed at this point. Also watch to the end, for details on the Christmas Special giveaway competition.

My only comment besides great layout is, perhaps a closet for storing unbuilt kits & new purchases. 🤔 BTW- I believe the figurine is holding a German Helmet in his hand. 👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻🤘🏻
Thanks Michael, i should have cabinets in the lower third of the shelving for storing kits, but have a plan for any over flow with a cabinet in the garage. Helmet added to the list. 👍

Ha ha, completely correct, I actually forgot to show the split system which will be above the window and I literally bought a mini bar in the Black Friday sales to hopefully fit in one of the cupboard sections of the bookshelves. It's not huge but can fit about 10 Canadians in so will stop me from dying of dehydration 👍👍👍
Great layout! You have planned it nicely, plenty of space to move around and everything you need in one space. Can't think of something you would need

Hi Mike, thanks mate, yes the last two days were both over 30 so absolutely in the shorts 😃 Its a good observation about the sunlight, the window will get the afternoon sun, which is good for me as it really only impact when I am filming final reveals, and I tend to do them in the mornings. Down Under globe added to the list 👍

Thanks Liam, yep all good down here, heat wave last two days both over 30, will probably snow tomorrow!!!!! I am going to set up airbrush booth, 3D printer and other things like chop saw, scroll saw etc on workbench in the garage, otherwise known as Studio 2 😃 News paper added to the list 👍
Great layout, and thank you for inspiring me to use the same planner for a newly-renovated apartment, one room in which will be my own hobby room! As for the figurine, my guess is that he is holding up a German helmet in his outstretched hand.
It's pretty useful software, not too hard to learn and you get a good idea of what things might look like as a finished product. Helmet added to the list, thanks for watching 👍
Fantastic Glenn 👍 the only help I can give. Or best advice is don't keep sprue's cut parts off and put them into a container. You've seen my video on what happens when you keep everything. It gets out of hand fast. And my hobby room was 10 by 11 feet. It took me forever to get it chopped down. Then I moved and it's all in storage. Ugh. Looking for a house but everyone selling their home thinks it's worth a hundred thousand dollars more then it actually worth. Anyway my troubles. My guess, Is it Hitlers head. Hahaha. Great to see you up and running again. How's the arm? Or was it hand? Anyway God bless and good luck on the hobby room.
Thanks Clay, most of my hobby room stuff is in storage now too, I kept just enough out to do the basics, and I took the packing up as a chance to clean up all the accumulated useless crap, so hopefully I move into the new place with no clutter! I was on the other side of that buying/selling equation, we got so many stupidly low offers it was mind numbing, luckily we finally got a decent offer so that's one less thing to worry about now. Hitlers head is on the list 😃
Don't forget storage ,room for paint racks tools etc. U know how fast a room can fill up in our Hobbie!

Thanks Jeff, the bottom of the window frame will be exactly 350mm from the work bench top, allows me to fir my Ammo paint racks on the wall under the window frame on the desk with a out 5mm to spare 😃 of course, that's assuming the builders are as careful with window placement as I expect them to be!

Hey Michael, how's it going mate? I am looking at at least 15months before it all get finished, so I am currently restricted to a 10 by 10 inch corner of the desk, the new room will be luxury after that 👍
