Couldn’t disagree more… Just not true… Not all are rent to own… There are companies like CORT who deliver and when you move they’ll pick it up. I’ve used CORT and couldn’t had a better experience.

I think if you're leasing for years then the interest rate would be an issue, but if you're planning to pay off the furniture in a few payments then does the interest rate really matter? Considering the potential that the person is able to split up payments instead of finding the funds all up front. Just not sure this advice applies to every furniture renting situation...

Correct I’ve always choose 6 month (if possible) leases and almost never have to pay a lot over the original price.

That is the most stupid tip I have received from a boomer. If you are changing accommodation every two years. Leasing is a better option and saves a lot of inconvenience.

Well if you have the money and don't have the time it's worth it... I have a million dollar business and don't have the time to go pick up random couches that probly have cum stains on them. It's personal preference bro and nothing wrong with it. Interest rates don't mean shit when you make over 3k profit in a day, plus my lease is 3 months only so it's convenient to be in and out they move the furniture for you when you move in and move out.

We rent to own everything else. Cars, appliances, clothes, It is simply credit without good credit. etc. At the rent a centers. They did America a big favor by extending credit to people who don't have good credit.
When you pay high interest rates at a Rent A Center you're simply paying them for giving you credit when you don't deserve it. And there you have it!!
