Does anyone else find that Canada kind of takes the cake for the music industry? Yeh, the Americans have a LOT of really good artists, but I feel like the top in every genre are Canadian. Like look at Justin Beiber (I know he f*ed up but at one point he was the biggest pop artist out there), Tragically Hip, Rush, these guys. Idk. Us, Australians, Brits. In my opinion that's where the REAL music comes from.
Then there is Germany looking down on everyone laughing. lol
I dont entirely agree, but I think on a per capita scale Canada puts out more quality music acts than most of the rest of the world. Our population is quite small, and yet we manage to consistently chart all over the place, and still get critical praise =)

Music is a matter of opinion, if you think the best music comes from Canada, FINE. That means that's what you are exposed to and you obviously take a lot of pride in your home, GREAT. I hate to burst your bubble, but nationality has absolutely nothing to do with somebody's level of artistic ability. Get your head out of your asses. I came to this video cus I liked this band, and I come to see the top comment talks about how great Canadians are, with their "quality of music per capita" bullshit....what a fucking turn-off.

This is people singing from their hearts. I will never get sick of passionate people expressing themselves. We all live a little through the artists we can sing (or scream) along to. Surviving life is about finding a groove that resonates enough for you to keep going with the mundanities of life. This band makes life so much less shitty. Thank you for your effort. Thank you for your voice. Continuance is impossible without inspiration. There are much bigger things I am sure your music is doing but I just want to thank you for the motivation it gives me to do all the everyday things that sometimes seem impossible. Please keep making music. Life happens one day at a time, but hearing your work makes those days infinitely more enjoyable. Thank you for your inspiration. I would function less if it were not for you.

This is great. Recently I've gained respect for Canadian music, I used to hate it just because the CRTC forced it on us but there are a hell of a lot of really good Canadians musicians out there lately. July Talk is amazing!
I am now a proud owner of both albums on Vinyl, do yourself a favor, get them both, you won't be disappointed, really hope the come back to Grande Prairie, would love em both signed, love our Canadian talent!
