Wow. Past Forward? I really love the name of the talk! Have to admit, the subject matter is thought provoking. My question is, how would one be able to focus on the urban experience with the population inflation, transport and mobility, water conservation issues that we currently face? Bangalore has grown into/is growing into new neighbourhoods like Sarjapur, HSR layout etc but to keep the urban 'density' intact, wouldn't one need to focus on 'infrastructure'?
A charming, interesting lecture. Nostalgia time for old time Bangaloreans, I'm sure. I feel Bangalore should possibly think of, for one point, an extensive network of underground Metro system/ MRTS to significantly take pressure off the roads so that the footpaths, the trees and the green cover all so characteristic and typical of old Bangalore and the unique experience this city used to offer is able to be revived to some measure at least.
