طالما أشكو غَرامي يا نُورَ الوجودْ
وأُنادي يا تِهامي يَا مَعْدِنَ الجودْ
مُنْيَتي أقصى مَرامي أحظى بالشّهودْ
وأرى بابَ السلامِ يا زاكي الجدود
يا طراز َالكونِ إنى عاشقْ مُسْتَهامْ
مُغْرَمٌ والمَدحُ فَنّى يا بَدْرَ التّمامْ
إصـرف الإعـراض عنّـي أضـنـانـي الـغــــرام
فيـك قـد حسّـنت ظـنّي يـا هـــادي الأنــــام

English Translation:
How long will my heart ache for my Beloved,
o you light of of the universe -
and call out you, o Tihami,
o you treasure of goodness?!
My utmost wish and desire
is that I may attain to the vision
and see the door of Paradise,
o you purifyer of efforts!
O you crown of creation, I am
engrossed in longing and desire.
a lover, whose art is praise (of the beloved),
o you full moon of perfection!
Lift away the burden from me -
love has consumed me and made me weak.

Thanks alot for the translation. However i have a question about the part. "Lover... praise (the beloved) to me this and the following line indicates an almost overpraising of the prophet pbuh and he himself warned us about this. Please explain if u will and what are the particular Arabic words that are used?
