I'm the driver of FL!P and I would like to say the Krave Monster is so MASIVE that it was hard to get to the sides. Plus I had just made some modifications to the drive and wheel sizes so FL!P was more swirly than usual. But I belive that it was truly a close match. Krave Monster is truly the best ant weight ever.
i love the krave monster it's just derpy
Biting down on a spinner-bot must be like having a mouthful of hornets!
Thanks for letting my son drive your mini Rhino bot. He had a blast - Along with my 3 other sons and my wife and me! It was totally worth the 8 hour trip to go see this bot brawl. :) I will be bringing a bot of my own next year. I should start one of these bot brawls in Wisconsin.
Thanks for coming! Glad you enjoyed and plan to start your own. If you haven't already joined, there is a combat robot Facebook group that has good info. CIRC fills up very fast so it's helpful to get notified when the builders database page goes live. Sorry that I wasn't able to give the others a shot at driving later in the competition.
0:45 According to the team prior to my fight with them, it is pronounced Jooper.
5:20 I was driving the minibot during this match!
9:50 Happy Gnome was the first robot I faced, and when he says it was pretty nice, the UHMW sideplates of 841 back this claim.
12:37 Hey look! There's 841 in the left corner!
404 Robotics lol that tombstone hexbug tho
seahawks/warriors 4 life,where?

Awesome video! It was awesome seeing you at CIRC and thanks for putting both of our bots in the video! Enjoyed showing you the Skittles Monster!
Really enjoyed this, thanks.
Great video dude! Keep it up
Love the vids and your unique approach to bots :)
Got pretty giddy seeing myself in the thumbnail. I'm gonna be eating these event reports up, keepin that hype alive til the next event.
I love these videos!
Great vid keep up the good work:)
Love the videos!
Well danger zone went out in style at least!
1:26 Is the girl in blue leaving is a phantom or something??! She seems to be a reflection at first and bam she is first plan, I doesn't get it...
I love to see a control bot in the ring!
First bot is pronounced Jooper, it participated in our MORF competition in Joplin, MO
Are we going to be seeing more of this version of krave monster or are you just gonna go ahead and make a completely new version?
i'd love to do bot brawl some time. unfortunately i don't think half of my beetle's attachments make it fit in the 12" cube
The wedge bot that beat rino in the loosers bracket, I beat at the spark fun avc this year.
Flips weapon reminds me of one that sewer snake used to run
Or was it devils plunger
You finally beat your nemesis, Bit Error.
Edit: To prevent your weapon motor breaking, you should battle harden it. Check Robert Cowan’s channel for a tutorial.
Danger zone highlights! 13:15 3:38 4:05
many of these bots look like mini versions of end game.
You should make a bot that has another bot inside and can come out
that was the original plan for Krave this year- a HexBug-based mini Krave driving out of the mouth. Unfortunately two servos were needed for lifting and I ran out of weight.
What if I was to drae a modle
What's the wight of the bots
It is 1 pound, or you could enter the 3 pound category at the compatition he is at.
LNDS Studios competition
For the next crave monster you should try to put a rod or arm on the top that you would attach to a straight servo arm and use a high torque servo and mount the servo in a way that if the crave gets flipped over it can right itself so that you don’t have to worry if you have to fight a flipper . I hope this helps. I really like the crave.
Add a ronded piece of foam to the top of crave so it rolls over every time it gets flipped.
That’s not a bad idea. I think I’ll do that with my Krave Monster that I’ll call Cereal Killer
@@Lumakid100 its been 11 months, any updates on Cereal Killer?
@@baconpantsable Progress has been slow, but it is getting built.
Did you get anything for third place
Krave Monster best robot!
U should do a grudge match... Darger zone vs krave monster. Also what do you use to edit your videos?
I use iMovie on a 2011 macbook or my iPad. If you've got a windows computer I recommend the free version of davinci resolve
Alta's Projects ok thanks. What do u use to record the videos of the fights? Could I take a video with my phone and then use the divinci thing you were talking about to put commentary in my videos?
I've always wanted to compete in combat robot fights but I'm so worried about the complexity of it. I also create robots for something called robot hockey do you have any tips? Thanks keep up the great work. I love your videos
I just compeated for the first time and it was really fun! I would recommend the 1 pound class for your first time.
@@loganhughes2935 thank you
U welcome!
Alta make a third bot maby a lifter or fbs
I feel like you could make Rhino into an Antweight.
I just would love to see how many of these bots it would take to beat Tombstone
Enough to high-center it, but the battlebox is 16-16m so probably like a million😂
Tombstone is 250 lb and each bot is one lb, so I'd say at least couple hundred since weapons are completely ineffective and you basically have to get tombstone stuck on the bots
krave looks so gigantic next to most ants
A krave monster whuch has no cereal box WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO
what motors
you used a battlebots tombstone for rhino's minibot
Is bit error like your bot rival your 3-2 against him.
Yes and he only won against Bit Error once. (Unless you count The Best Or Nothing.)
i want to sign up for this
It's in Peoria (If I remember correctly) Illinois.
I'm looking to build a ant weight yet don't have a 3d printer, if anyone has 3d printer suggestions or suggestions for building without a 3d printer please let me know! (I very much so want to know a good 3d printer to get as well, so please do suggest one!)
If your only reason for having a printer is to build an ant, I'd recommend just using a 3D print service to print your chassis. For example, www.endbots.com has a Markforged Onyx One and can 3D print a nylon-carbon ant weight chassis for around 30-40 bucks. You could build like 90 bots before paying as much as that printer costs.
If you want to buy your own printer, I personally like my Lulzbot Taz 5. The Lulzbot mini can be had for $750 refurbished and is another option. Don't expect stellar fine details on prints from Lulzbot, but you do get reliability and if you put a cover over it the ability to print many different materials.
ah alright thanks!
Who said you needed a 3D printer?
Plus a lot of library's and schools have them
Make a spinner bot out of plastic plates.
Why don't you add weights on the back of krav so it's harder to flip and more pushing power
There is a 1lb weight limit - I'd have to remove something to add weights
You should keep the plastic
Just now realizing I kind of griefed you a bit in the rumble lol
What’s the name of the black fbs in the rumble
Check the link to Camden's blog in the description, that covers that bot.
It's spinook v2, I had a terrible bout of my self-righting mechanism not working and having absolutely no grip in the arena, so the rumble was my first "real" match and the only of the whole day. I've purchased a drone controller to program my esc for more torque to try to fix it next time
Camden Wallraff it looks really cool hope it has more fights next year
Your're a creative guy, make a harpoon battle-bot(also btw I'm not a freaky fish guy)
A krave monster without a cereal box!??!?!??!?!
God I want to fight the Krave Monster so bad
BeaverBotics2 we all do.
Taster would have won the ant rumble but david forgot to show up for judging at the end lol
Oh..... Never mind...

You really should make your bots out of strong metal
If the chassis of Danzer Zone was milled from aluminum it would have weighed an extra .3 lbs. My weapon would have had to be less than half as heavy to compensate, making it much less powerful. If the krave Monster was made from even thin sheet metal it would need to be much smaller than 12" x 12" (there is no very large metal antweight that still has enough weight left over for 4 drive motors and 3 servos). A smaller Krave wouldn't be able to eat other bots. Only the beetle design this year would work well as a metal bot. For antweights I'd rather spend my weight on 4wd, weapons, and size than on a metal chassis.
Let me get this straight I’m an 11 year old boy I,m from a Christian family I grew up to bot fighting sense I watch the reboot series of battle bots and the original and all bot fighting sources and I hardly know any of that stuff and also my names fernando my last name is Capurro I do have the knowledge but I’m a little rusty
Um... ok?
I am 13 but I know what most of that is because I have asked questions about it!
I'm 13 too, and my dad and I built a beetle weight pusher bot that we used the parts of an RC car to build it. But my dad says the circuitry is really easy to make. Is what he says true? I'm just not sure. Also, where should I get parts? Because I might want to enter the contest with my dad.
No dislikes 👍
You managed to jinx us
5:25 SOMEONE CHANGED UP TOMBSTONE TO MAKE IT A WEDGE MINIBOT, I WOULD MAKE THE WEAPON FASTER AND STRONGER FOR A MINIBOT
That someone was me. Why are you using all caps?
bc i though it was col
and why didnt you keep the spinner?
The spinner is utterly ineffective and pointless at that weight class, it would be impossible for a mini-bot that small to have an even remotely effective spinner. Honestly having a minibot at all is pretty much pointless and doesn't actually do anything for you, I suspect he just tacked it on for shits and giggles bc he happened to have extra weight.
Your bots are surprisingly rugged for using comparatively cheap chassis materials.
Scribe Hammar thanks. Very few parts of my bots are rigid. Not much shock is transferred through the robots to the electronics. Of course, while function is retained visible damage is often quite bad (ex: blades were melting groves into the shapelock durring the rumble) so even if my robot is working judge decisions won't often be in my favor
Yah the beta weights just filled with weta clones
