Gold Nanoparticles as a Magic Bullet to Treat Cancer

By 2040, the number of new cancer cases per year is expected to rise to 29.5 million and the number of cancer-related deaths to 16.4 million. Approximately 50 percent of all cancer patients can benefit from radiotherapy however the current methods need improvement to further increase patient survival rates and reduce side effects. In this talk, Dr. Chithrani will discuss the importance of using gold nanoparticle-based novel strategies to overcome challenges imposed by the tumour and its microenvironment.

Oh please, this is exactly out of the pages of Captain America. Maybe you should try penicillin in association with blue gold nanoparticles that surround the cells then hit them with a certain frequency of vita ray light while in a pod that is pressurized with cooled oxygen. Dont forget to administer intramuscularly in the chest and arms where the meridians are. It worked for "Americas Golden Boy". Slowly tiptoeing towards this innevitability is just gauche and predictable at this point. Pretending as if this isnt established elsewhere is just embarassing, I am actually embarassed for you. Maybe I will publish my findings and take the credit.
