My name is Soumya. I am an Ex-professor of Computer Science and Engineering. Currently, I work as a freelancer in technology training for various companies(2020). My favourite subjects were Data structures, Algorithms, Graph theory etc.
My current work area is Python, Data Science and Machine Learning. I love coding and love to teach.
I make CZcams videos just because I love it, nothing else.

Do love programming. Everyone should learn it. It's a joy. Solving problems with your logic is one of the greatest feelings in the world. If you are really passionate, thousands of resources are available. Never jump directly into coding. Do understand the problem, try to develop your logic for that and then try to implement it. Optimize your solutions. Try learning basic syntax, oops concepts, data structures and algorithms. Then try to solve problems on hackerrnak, Codechef, codeforces etc for developing your logic. Never directly jump into development and advanced technologies like AI, ML etc without these mentioned topics. Because coding is incomplete with Ds and algorithm. 😇

You can learn basics of any langauge like Python and then basics of web, web development frameworks like django /Flask. 3-6.months depending on how much time you can spend and how much you already know.

See if you have an opportunity and financial stability to go to college and study, meet people, do it. Web development you can study online for free while you are in college or staying at home. Marks actually does not matter. But getting into a good college will give you good opportunities and meet people. To becone a data scientist, you just have to learn and master the skills, not only going to college will help 😌

For an average programming job, maths is not required. You need good understanding of logic & digital electronics. Both are very easy to understand.

Oops sorry.. It depends on many factors. As @vishnu said Python or Java both are good choices. If you are a beginner I would not recommend Java. Also the framework and everything depends on your requirements

എന്റെ അനുഭവത്തിൽ സി പ്രോഗ്രാമും ജാവയും. കാരണങ്ങൾ:
1. മിക്കവാറും എല്ലാ മൈക്രോകണ്ട്രോളറും(AVR, PIC etc.), മൈക്രോപ്രോസസ്സറും പ്രോഗ്രാം ചെയ്യാനാവും.
2. Python പോലുള്ള interpreted പ്രോഗ്രാമിങ് language-ൽ ഉള്ള GIL(അഥവാ Global Interpreted Lock) CPU കോർ എല്ലാം പാരലൽ പ്രോസിസിങിന് വിധേയമാക്കാൻ സമ്മതിക്കില്ല. പക്ഷെ compiled പ്രോഗ്രാമിങ് language-കൾ മിക്കതും സമ്മതിക്കും.
3. Java പോലുള്ള പ്രോഗ്രാമിങ് language-ന്റെ മോട്ടോ എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് തന്നെ ഒരു പ്ലാറ്റ്ഫോമിൽ compile ചെയ്താൽ ബാക്കിയുള്ള പ്ലാറ്റ്ഫോമിലും ഉപയോഗിക്കാം എന്നുള്ളതാണ്. സി-പ്രോഗ്രാമിൽ ആണെങ്കിൽ cross compiler-ന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ ഇത് ചെയ്യാം.
NB:-
1. ഞാൻ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾ പറയും റാസ്പ്ബെറി പൈ, nvdia jetson ബോർഡുകൾ പൈത്തൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പ്രോഗ്രാം ചെയ്യാമെന്ന്. ഈ ബോർഡുകൾ പൈത്തൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പ്രോഗ്രാം ചെയ്യാമെന്നുള്ളത് സി/ജാവ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പ്രോഗ്രാം ചെയ്യാനാകില്ല എന്നുള്ളതിന് തെളിവില്ല. കൂടാതെ ഈ ബോർഡുകൾക്ക് സാധാരണ മൈക്രോകൊണ്ട്രോളർ based ബോർഡുകളെക്കാൾ computational പവർ ഉണ്ട്. അതു കൊണ്ട് പൈത്തൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിൽ കുഴപ്പമില്ല.
2. മുകൾപ്പറഞ്ഞ കാര്യത്തോട് എതിർപ്പുള്ള ചില കൂട്ടർ വേറെയുമുണ്ടാവും. അതിന്റെ കാരണം micropython ആണ്. Micropython ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ബോർഡിന് ഉദാഹരണമാണ് ESP32 (500 രൂപയ്ക്ക് താഴെ വിലയ്ക്ക് കിട്ടും എന്നുള്ളത് കൊണ്ട് പലരുടെയും ധാരണ ഇത് മൈക്രോകൊണ്ട്രോളർ ആണെന്നാണ്. പക്ഷെ 400MHz frequency-യിൽ വർക് ചെയ്യുന്ന 2 കോർ ഉള്ള processor ആണ് ESP32- വിൽ ഉള്ളത്). പക്ഷെ micropython സാധാരണ പൈത്തനിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമാണ്, അതായത് പൈത്തന്റെ എല്ലാ functionality-യും micropython-ന് അവകാശപ്പെടാനാവില്ല. കൂടാതെ performance improve ചെയ്യാൻ optimize ചെയ്തതാണ്.
ഇനി simulation-ന് ഉപയോഗിക്കാവുന്ന software-കൾ:
1. ROS (ROS- ന് സി, പൈത്തൻ API ഉണ്ട്)
2. V-rep(lua API)
(Although Lua is an interesting language to learn in order to program some microcontrollers)
3. MATLAB(Proprietary software). You can use Simulink in order to simulate control s/m like PID controllers.
4. LABVIEW(proprietary).
ROS ഫ്രീ ആണ് ഓപ്പൺ സോഴ്സ് ആണ്. Documentation ഉണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ example ഇല്ല. ഒരു നല്ല instructor-ന്റെ സഹായം ഇല്ലാതെ പഠിക്കാനാവില്ല.😑ഒരു 3 വർഷമെങ്കിലും ROS-ന് വേണ്ടി നീക്കി വെക്കേണ്ടി വരും ഇല്ല എങ്കിൽ.
For a beginner, arduino programming is the best option which is built on C and C++. Thousands of tutorials are available in youtube itself.
Once you get fluent with this and if you wish to do practical, real life projects/ products than hobby projects, start learning embedded C programming in 8051/AVR/PIC/ARM.
Warning: Sticking to arduino for a long duration will destroy your embedded programming/ engineering skill and your career.

Yes. Both are used interchangeably. Coding is a general term that we use to say 'converting from one form/language to another'. Programming is the actual process of solving problems with the help of a computer.
