Being a former cop, now retired, I picked up on a lot of things that tell me John definitely didn't go there with any friendly feelings toward Brian Albert and Brian Higgins. Colin was surely there (but John didn't realize beforehand) and John & Colin are bitter enemies. You're right, John didn't go there for any 'party' and his and Karen's honor was at least one main reason. Unsure of the legitimacy of rumors of John knowing dirt on BA and BA considering him a risk to his freedom, but certain that all 3 were involved in John's demise.
I wondered if they confronted John about her "flirty" text msgs and a fight started - 2 or 3 against John. 😢
I started to think that after Higgins testimony, he was drunk enough to say something untoward about Karen and JO probably told him to kick rocks. Fight started, dog defends owner, and the beating continues and they dump him outside.
Karen asking if she hit him, gave them the cover up they needed. Proctor is a willing participant at that point

In her world, basketball with the kids is important to keep up appearances and set a good example of acceptable family life for the rest of her group. She's the "everything happens for a reason and God has a plan for you" lady who just called CPS on you and planted drugs in your house so she could buy it on auction after it's seized by the feds.
She uses her children or her daughters CONSTANTLY as an excuse trying to paint herself as a loving mother who’s devoted and hyper focused on her children. However, it’s been shown that she’s hyper-focused for all the wrong reasons and on everrrrrryone around her and the ONLY person Jennifer McCabe loves is Jennifer McCabe.

He was a bit of a local celebrity for adopting his niece and nephew. His sister and brother-in-law died. Everybody knew that story.

I think its weird she has Carrie Robert's over hanging out when they are trying to eat dinner and get out the door for a basketball game. I'm a baseball mom and my son has played for 10 years. You don't have a friend over when you need to get out of the house and to a game especially one that's "a talker" like Jenny claims Carrie is much less while that person is being interviewed by the police, even if it's on the phone. It's a small knit picky thing, but I've never been able to make that story make sense.

The judge should absolutely be kicked from her service. It's crazy to me how unbelievably biased she is towards defense. I was really under the impression that judges were to uphold rules, and the jury was to decide fate. How she acts you would think she is paid by the prosecution. It's insanely obvious. I've seen them always take the side pigs. So I guess this actually tracks. Our system needs a serious overhaul before we the people decide to do it for them.

You’re supposed Friend whom you claimed you loved, passed tragically on your sister's lawn that same day or the next day, and you have the ability to go to a BB game? I’m quite certain someone could have taken your child/children. I honestly can’t imagine being in an environment like that after just losing a friend or loved one. Yeah, that shows just how much you cared JM. Real Class act.
Also, still can’t get over the fact that a detective would investigate the death of anyone, let alone Brother in Blue like that..there is absolutely no way that ALL of them didn't know better and the fact that they were all constantly having to know what was going on. I'm sad to say it but I will never see the Legal system in the same way after the last year and a half or so.
I don't buy what JM is selling, but I will say when my beloved SIL died in a horrific accident I had to keep things calm and routine for my children. I don't actually have the luxury of someone to help with that. That part is the least problematic part of her testimony.

My comment was geared specifically to what we know about JM’s lifestyle. Regardless, I’m not insensitive to the struggle of raising a child/children without assistance.
I think I just really couldn’t handle how fake and scripted she was. In addition to how willing she is to let another woman whom she claimed to be friends with go to prison for the rest of her life full well knowing there has been nothing but lies unearthed in this so called investigation. When the investigation starts with a leaf blower and Red solo cups as “evidence” collection, I think we can safely assume there has never been any integrity. More importantly, there was a severe lack of humanity, and the supposed bond of Brothers in Blue sure didn’t show up for Officer O’Keefe. This case has rattled me to the core.
