  • "Born to be Wild" host and veterinarian Doc Nielsen Donato treats a Philippine macaque in captivity. The monkey had been kept as a family pet since it was a baby, but recently started to scratch and bite its owners. The owners asked Born to be Wild to check on the animal's health and help turn it over to the wildlife authorities.

This is an excellent technique to catch a macaque at 6:15. You can do this yourself. Also, once you have hold of it's hand, it knows it is capture and will not bite you.
