Мне эта тема очень близка, потому что в моей семье оба родителя сильно пили, и моё детство напоминало мне нескончаемый кошмар, страшный сон, от которого невозможно было проснуться и избавиться, пока я не повзрослела. У меня никогда не возникало желания пить алкоголь, ни разу не пробовала курить или принимать наркотики, но я прекрасно понимаю людей с подобной зависимостью, потому что сама в детстве пережила весь ужас подобной ситуации. Спасибо вам за ваше откровение, за то, что делитесь с нами своим личным, своими переживаниями, своими страхами и пережитой болью. @@Kerrelyn717 Thank you for sharing friend. I grew up around alcohol abuse and so perhaps that is why I don't struggle with it as much. I despise it. It was other things for me. Luckily I am in a good spot now, but I still see so many people around me who need help, who need love and support. I would never judge someone who is going through these things. I would only offer support of they needed it. Much love to you friend. I did responed to our other message thread.

This strikes a thousand chords in me that are all pain. My grandfather and father were alcoholic. Both my brothers took it further and sank deeply into drug addiction. I had a period of “partying”,but my drug of choice was actually “food”. Yeah…a lot of people laugh at that. My last and closest brother died in 2017 of pancreatic cancer. He had been sober from alcohol for several years,but I know he still smoked weed. The irony of it all is that his long history of drug abuse made it impossible to control his pain when he went on hospice(but he NEVER complained to me). I have watched a few of Dax’s videos and I truly love this man! Thank you for another great reaction video,and congrats,Mike,for your sobriety and honest sharing. My dad was actually sober for 20 plus years before he died,but,I believe,his woundedness was with him until the end. So much pain passed down through generations. And I have NOT had the courage to continue with my own recovery, when the pain overwhelmed me and I didn’t want to face the truth. Love to you both!! Thanks for not shying away from such important issues. The world needs this light shining into dark corners.

My father passed away still struggling with his addiction to alcohol. He died with so much regret he was never able to face. I go through spurts of extreme motivation to break this generational curse. I am determined to end it here with me. Songs like this help with motivation. Thank you Dax!

As someone struggling with alcohol the part that hit me is when he says "he's cocky confident he don't give a damn what you think". Honestly when I'm drunk I'm way more confident but by nature I'm a quiet and timid person. But let me get a few shots down and I'm an extrovert and don't take crap from anybody.
I pray that one day I can quit this poison
