Gongbech is on Jeju Island off the coast of South Korea and it's an absolutely beautiful cafe in a just as beautiful location. I have included the address just below for anyone wanting to visit! Also congratulations to BTS on their new comeback! I have had 'ON' on repeat since it was realised!

How many people have put this on their list for if they make a trip to Jeju South Korea?? Also if any of you go and you please send me that magnificent green tea brownie? And also also, how amazing is BTS's new comeback??? I can not get over the whole vibe of the new song, the upbeat choreo, the amazing drummers! I need to watch it 50 more times to take it all in!
EDIT: Also sorry guys! I read in a Korean article that it was Suga and his brother, Min Geumjae’s cafe but I’ve been corrected that it’s actually his brother’s cafe! Sorry for the mistake in the video where I said it was both of theirs! I will do my best to check more articles next time to be sure!
Wow, the place looks incredibly beautiful!!! IT'S SO DAMN ARTSY AND COOL🔥💜. And it's obvious that a lot of thought went to the whole making of the cafe. I definitely want to visit the place someday.
Also, well, my wig got flown a long time ago as soon as the album released😂😂😂. DANG THEY BLEW OUR MINDS!! Which, as an ARMY, i shouldn't be surprised about, but then again, BTS ALWAYS surprises us with their music everytime, they are THAT GOOD. What more can i say, they are BTS after all😌💜.

I believe it’s just his brother’s cafe actually. His brother’s quite the artsy type haha hence why he put so much into the modern aesthetic. He was the one who encouraged Suga to do music though because he like his brother’s music and believed in him hence why he also probably focused on the speakers and music being played :)

@@hojusara ah don't worry about it :D I mean that's just what I know since Yoongi hasn't talked about it and his brother seems to run everything (the sadly dead instagram and the cafe itself). I'm sure Yoongi is a huge supporter though. I actually ran into his brother when I went, he was super chill and nice. I mean I also hope my info is correct haha I feel like a lot of times the articles assume it's the idol's store too, but sometimes it really is just the family that runs it so really no worries!

damn his brother is so genius to put the nature as it is, not changing the structure of the whole and rather build the cafe inside of it.
its an abandoned building. its not a purposely built building structure.
architecturally, this is a really cool space and the prices seemed surprisingly reasonable for a fancy cafe :o

No Gongbech 공백 literally means blank/blank space thats why the museum looks like a “blank space” even the cafe looks so minimalist to fit the the motif of blank space

@@armystayblink9865 That place was an abandoned mall in LA. The placed is used a lot for film projects and music videos. I cant remember which movie, but it was fairly recent, but that place was used to film an action scene.
There's a CZcams reactor, Form of Therapy, that is a producer and reacts to K-Pop videos. He talked about the space when he watched Black Swan.

Suga said that he could be an architect if not ended up being a musician. So, the whole place really suits the taste of our genius Min Yoongi. :)
The fact that Suga's brother runs a cafe that sells amazing sugary treats is so much fun. 🍪 Also that view. 😍 The gallery space looks like it could be the set for a BTS photoshoot or music video!

i came here last may and i had the chance to meet yoongi's brother! such a nice guy and the pastry that we got was so good 😆

Robbin every Army would know him if they see him....especially in his Cafe
Robbin we asked before we left because he looked so familiar to me (from the little knowledge i have of his appearance due to him posting pictures of yoongi and him online) and he confirmed it. He was really nice and thanked us for coming 😭 so sweet! NGL, yoongi was right; his brother looked so much more handsome than pictures
Laree Chhangte yeah my friends and i went to gongbech when it was their soft opening so he was there checking everything to make sure everything was good
TaeTae V we asked to take pics with him, but he politely declined for privacy reasons and my friends and I were like "of course!!!" cuz no one should be entitled to take someone's pics without their consent!!! Instead, i just took pics of the food and the cafe. I posted the pics on my ig: 5n9el, so feel free to take a look ☺️

And as far as I know it opened some time early to mid last year? I filmed this video in October actually but was so busy with my Korean channel that I didn't have time to edit it until now!

Beautiful in and out, poised, intelligent, articulate, open, warm, friendly, humorous, and just really down to earth makes Sara one of my favorite cook CZcamsrs. Whatever she is talking about and where ever she is, makes it all worth watching as a smile is permanently etched onto my face for the duration of the whole video. This time I was also salivating all the time as I saw all the delicious food in the cafe. Thank you for a great video and please take care to wear a mask as it is getting pretty scary how quickly the coronavirus infection is picking up the pace even in Korea as well as the rest of the world, kind of like the wildfires that spread in Australia. I love café vlogs/videos... But this one looks so different, so modern and minimilist that I don’t know if I would like it. I love old fashioned cafes to be honest. But it’ s so interesting and different museum-like, that I would totally visit if I could. And I don’t know any kpop stars besides BTS lol.
The entrance area looks like something out of a James Bond set.

Yoongi actually doesn’t take part in the cafe. It’s just his brother Junki’s/ Geumjae’s cafe. The title was quite misleading

yeonkiemin idk on a lot of sites it’s Junki. But his ig is geumjae. I thought it’s junki because a lot of traditional korean families tend to use the same syllable ( idk what it’s called ) in the names of family members. In their case it would be ‘ki’ not sure tho. He might have changed his name

The café reminds of Tate Modern art museum in London. Less art obviously but but the design was similarly brutal. The landscape is far better than urban London however:)
omg that cafe totally has the same vibe as the connect bts exhibit with collaboration with Nature. Their whole album is so many different colors and elements. As a hard core fan of matcha, I would absolutely love to come there when I can actually afford to go to Korea.
That outside kind of reminds me of the ‘Catharsis’ exhibition for Connect BTS in London... so beautiful
I went here early this year too and it was so beautiful! Seriously I’ve never been in an art space like this before and it was almost a spiritual experience. I didn’t want to leave!

omg i was there like 2 days ago!!~ I got the tangerine tea and tangerine croissant and it was very good. The place is confusing I went with a friend who went there earlier so she showed me around.
