Bjs has been selling cards online and in store for awhile. Usually the cheapest around too
In The past, other people have beat me to it. In this case I scored the case. My Bj's has NOT restocked so I am Thinking probably 1 case per store. I can still buy more online though

The Jackson Merrill is an SSP. It isn't an image variation, it is just very hard to find one. Your Statistical Standout was a normal version. The white bar behind the player is the base color. I have pulled a couple with the blue bar and seen other color variations that are numbered.

A lot of people in the Sportscards industry call the SP RCs image variations. Card 699 is 699 Sean Bouchard - Colorado Rockies, but it is replaced with 699 Jackson Merrill on the Short Print. The four Rookie SPs are coming out about 1 per Case (Hobby and Retail)…1 per 64 Hangers Boxes in this case. The SSPs are the different Fun Face variations that are a tribute to the 1989 Fleer Billy Ripken. Hobby and Hobby Jumbos have had more of the SSPs…I am sure Topps placed them in Retail also, but the Retail odds are much tougher. 🤓⚾️

One of the Fantasy Favorites was a blue parallel non numbered. Cool rip though. The SSP rookies are Jackson Holliday, Jackson Merrill, Jackson Chourio, & Wyatt Langford. I pulled a black border Mickey Mantle 1989 retro card #'d out of 299.

Nice case of hangers. The yellows are collectible. Your case was a little under performing it seemed like but had you pulled the right players on the short numbered cards, it would be a different story. Thanks for sharing Chris

Alot of those inserts i throw in the grabage, base inserts go in the trash, i don't care what player it is, TRASH, i just keep the numbered cards, autos, SSP, AFTER A WHILE ILL TRASH THE BASE ROOKIES TOO, IT'S TO MUCH, BORING BASE, INSERTS...

Topps is complete trash! All they do is gouge paying customers and smack them in the face especially on their digital apps, and everyone has figured it out and is leaving... Topps WILL go bankrupt before long their greed will cost them severely...
I'm just a no good tired of paying super high prices, hey if you can't afford them, or afford to gamble, it's gambling, it's crazy, that's something you wouldn't or should never introduce to your kids, especially just taking them instead of paying for them I thought was the logical route, I just take as many as I want, go to a bunch stores and take like 4 boxes, buy one, do that almost everyday, it's still hard to pull good card's, if I would have paid for some of the stuff that was just horrible, the cards i just helped myself with, I would be really upset, so my collection was super impressive, I had crazy auto's, low numbered cards, SSP, all kinds, i never got caught, i had a blast it was so fun, in order to have a collection like mine, you would have to be rich, I stopped, I'LL never do it again, because bad things were starting to happen to me, KARMA whatever negativity you put in the universe that's what your gonna get back in return a bunch of negative events that hit you later, WHAT I DID WAS WRONG, BUT IT SHOWED ME HOW THE UNIVERSE WORKS, I've gained so much knowledge , I don't know why I'm telling you this, life is beautiful, anyways back to sports cards, the stuff is expensive, but there's a good reason why, back in the day you couldn't pull a one of one, That's why the junk wax era is long gone, they will print high numbers of base even higher than 80s and 90s, but its the rare pulls that make the new junk wax era non existing.....😅😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
