Hurley could recruit McNeeley based on the role Karaban had and show how he could fit and even take on a bigger role from it.... unless McNeeley doesn't want to be on the East Coast, UConn really does seem like a great fit

Here’s some general information for college bb fans. Since NCAA Tournament expansion to 64 teams in 1985, only 6 schools have won 3 Titles or more: Duke 5, UConn 5, North Carolina 4, Kansas 3, Kentucky 3, Villanova 3. That’s it. Those 6 schools have the most titles under the 64+ team NCAA Tournament bracket.

We really need liam. A guy who can pull up from any spot on the court. I cant wait for this season to end and the age of super-seniors is over. UK can make it work with freshmen, but getting a guy like Reeves was the reason we were competitive, and BJ Freeman if he comes fills in that role. We really need the next Rob Dillingham, someone who can step on the court and just get a bucket, and thats who liam mcneely most likely is (just in a less energetic way).

In today’s college bb, it’s become a situation where your team should probably only recruit incoming freshmen IF and probably ONLY IF your head coach is certain that that freshman will be a starter for your team. If you bring in a freshman player and he rides the bench for most of the season, he most likely will transfer after the season is over. So what’s the point other than having more depth on your team. So I’d say…..only recruit freshman who will start almost immediately. Otherwise, just keep recruiting veteran players from the Transfer Portal. Today’s college bb head coaches are also now general managers who essentially “draft” yearly from the portal to build their teams.

Best choice for him and his family that why cal gets them all not bc he a good coach but he great getting them ready to be men in the NBA. Come on Aaron...LMAO. Love your show but you are delusional if you are thnking playing freshmen works because this is about tournament wins at their level. Not seeds. When you get to the tournament, you have to do things freshmen struggle with and that is defense. That is understanding how to play at this level.

@@chuckroutionGB2022 That’s definitely true. But that was 50 to 60 years ago! That was a very, very different era in cbb. UCLA reportedly has an incredibly wealthy booster who paid LOTS of money to those great UCLA players to get them to play for UCLA. Teams only got into the NCAA Tournament IF and only if they won their conference. UCLA played in a very weak PAC 8 Conference which they won every year. West Coast college bb teams were notoriously weak. There were ONLY 16 teams in the NCAA Tournament until expansion to 32 teams in 1975. The NCAA Tournament was played in specific regions. So UCLA ALWAYS PLAYED IN THE WEAK WEST COAST REGION. All they had to do was WIN 2 GAMES to get to the Final Four!! And EVERY YEAR UCLA got the best recruits with the aid of their Zillionaire booster. IT IS WAY WAY harder to win an NCAA Title in the 2020s than in the 60s and 70s. That’s why UCLA has won ONLY 1 NCAA TITLE IN ALMOST 50 YEARS.

The Kentucky fan base that just goes by whatever the media says are the ones who don’t know anything about basketball. It’s the players we had the injury it’s all about the Fit. If Adou comes back we doing need him as much, and Billy coming off the bench as a defensive guy, let DJ and all the other freshman not named Reed Sheppard go to get another guard like BJ Freemam or another upperclassman and get your rotation to 8 guys. Don’t need a big Jayden and Somto are both big physical guys who rebound and block shots Somto especially Karter is a 3 level scorer Travis is staying for a couple of years with Jayden and Boogie. Bring in Liam play the 2 bigs with Boogie and Karter that’s 4 freshman other 4 maybe 5 guys be upperclassmen. It was just a bad matchup and yeah they weren’t ready. But all these fans who are fans because they watch but have never played told me all year Bradshaw would be the best Center in baseball and will give you 2 threes or more a game. Next years team has better athletes more defense and physical play. Liam is a prototype college player at 6’7 streaches the floor knock down shooter. Idc if your an 8th grader if he can shoot like Liam you go get him
