I respect this review so much. It’s a genius way to break it down because it’s so honest
i have the asus 280hz IPS i love it, it’s fantastic. glad you’re enjoying your monitor and desk!
I had this and I noticed a slight improvement in motion clarity. Especially with the 8k viper. Can definitely see why a super competitive player would use this. For me though, once you play on 1440p you just can’t go back. Especially if you have a 240hz 1440p monitor. It’s still 95% as great for comp games if you have the gpu for it and the Jump to 1440p is really massive for clarity, especially if you play a game where spotting people is really important.
I'm a CSGO player, competitive, not casual. I used to play on a 27" 1440p but switched back to a 24" 1080p simply because the 27" monitor had too much screen to focus properly on the game.
not really, if your using good monitors 24'1080p doesn't look any different than 27"1440p
@@krypton9808 I feel this way now with my 27... thinking about going to a 24
depends on the game if the maps are small like csgo then yea ofc 24 inch is better than 1440p but other games like warzone is better at 1440p
boardzy holding his mouse in front of the camera like its a mouse review because he's not used to doing monitors
Peasant budget 240hz lmaoo.
Damn, me on 60hz, Im not even worthy of being a peasant lmao.
Big brain boardzy being big brain and getting all these expensive stuff as a business expense so he pretty much gets it for free
0:42 you just described my fortnite career since charge shitgun came out
This is cool technology, but what's not cool is me facing gamers with 240-360 hz monitors xd.
Sometimes his sarcasm has me scratching my head, and I’m Irish I’m basically brought up by sarcastic people.
Thumbnail is Pog
Just me... or is boardzy advertising that superlight and rubbing it in our faces? 🤪
Boardzy, would you recommend lint rolling a cloth mousepad weekly or will it ruin it?
god i love boardzy. please have my kids that would be hella based.
got the 360hz alienware for 500 its the best monitor i ever had, even games running at 60fps are smooth af without ghosting or jitter effects, compared to my old tn 240hz its night and day, HDR is also nice to have in some games :D
I'm still liking the 165hz I got for half price 32" and 1440p but I do wonder how the higher refresh ones may look. Others say you don't need more because they don't notice it but some of us have that keen eye and we do notice. Eventually I will get a 360hz.
I love the monitor got it for 699 right after release.
I'm about to buy a 2k 144hz/240hz monitor now so I can have best of both worlds :D
Damn. Might get a 360hz monitor after watching this cause I play mostly fps games(Apex Legends, csgo, Valorant) .
And his statement about "144hz is enough is bs" made me want to get 360hz monitor more.
stop the ageism! im 32 got the exact same setup like you do actually and 360 is insane.. best purchase!
Dude you crack me bro. You know your shit, can’t argue with anything you say subbed the fuck up twice.
My guy Ali did a vid ab DyAc today. Never heard of it before today, but seems cool.
Good day , just wanted to ask , does the display port cable it comes with have a locking mechanism? . Cant seem to find the release mechanism in mine . Tnx 🙂
Krunker setting pleaseee btw day 3 of telling boardzy that he is a legend
What monitor is good w triple monitor setup like that 360hz monitor and another 144hz monitor that have the right dimensions
Have you ever or will you ever review something like "BenQ XL2546K" would love to hear youre opinion on it for competitive FPS games like Valorant and hear what you think about the main feature of the monitor the "DyAC+".
Optimum tech made a banger video on this 360hz monitor and he recently did the dyac monitor review to compare both.
massive monitor stand gang
boardzy aimlabs sponsorship? love to see it
Hello boardzy...ive got a 240hz monitor but on my display and nvidia display pannel it only gose up to 180 but says 144hz and i dont know how to fix it..
Boardzy a mega Chad for player krunker
boardzy confirmed *IMPOSTER* *NOT CLICKBAIT*
To me a low response time and very little motion blur is much more important than just the refresh rate alone. 240hz OLED with BFI would literally feel like 960hz IPS.
For now it's either 240hz DyAc on 1080p boomer resolution or the HP Omen X 27 with 240hz 1440p for really low motion blur. Most IPS panels just can't compete.
yo what good youtube its boardzy
Yeah I just sold one of my kidney to get a RTX 3080 and this monitor thanks for the review man love you
I have a 1440p 144hz monitor and I want to try 240hz, shou I get a 1440p 240hz monitor or 1080p?
I just picked this up as it was cheaper than a zowie at the time. My g-sync esports mode puts the blacklight eq on? and i have an esports od mode? I guess they ghost upgraded this panel as it was end of life for the product.
I can’t even tell if he’s taking the piss or not 🤣
Did you install driver of monitor on support page of Asus ?
You can mount it on a monitor arm
Dyac goees crazy 😜
Im biased tho cuz i have the benq xl2546 divina pink
boardzy
I played Krunkr like one time when I was without a pc and was just dying to play a game and honestly even on a laptop it was pretty fun bhopping around and one tapping kids. Never thought people would go and play it on an actually computer though lol
what happens when you get 290 fps on a 360 hz monitor?
Did you get your btl gretxa from China? Mine has just arrived and it's really good
what is the first game you played called?
Friend : What monitor u have bro?
Me : aSUS rog
WOW AMAZING
im buying one as soon as i can afford it
what did you say at 1:02? 240 dayak or 360hz no dayak?
I wanna see boardzy use a controller
does it feel blurry? some people say it does
I agree 👍 bordazy I have 144hz 27 yes 27 lol Asus I agree if I go higher like 240hz or more I won't go back I game ft to 😉
Been using a Zowie XL2546 for a while and just ordered an Alienware AW2521H 360hz for $500 usd shipped on sale from the Dell site. Keen to see if 360hz + IPS + G-sync is noticeably better than 240hz + Dyac for gaming
@@santipalacio1889 BenQ Dyac has better motion clarity. Alienware better viewing angles, colours, refresh rate. I'm using the BenQ for competitive gaming for the better clarity though. Optimum tech has a good video comparing the two.
cant believe boardzy has a 360 monitor and plays csgo Roblox
make a review on the randomfrankp mouusepad
Does it have display scaler
You should have got the ASUS PG259QNR
Yooo i see that topographic deskpad there
nice mousepad, what is it.
What keyboard are you using?
What is that mouse bungee?
Hi! Nice video. I have the same monitor but i dont have this Gsync proccesor? setting. What is it?
What desk did you switch to
my monitor is so old and im surprised it hasnt exploded yet its 60 hz and feels like 50
What gpu do you have? cuz you would have to get 360 fps constantly, to use it well
What keyboard you using ???
Yo whats good youtube its boardzy and this is going to be a review of _____
In new
egg is on 399 is worth it?
when I saw the word "sus" in the title, I knew I had to click on this video.
what settings do u use bro ?
bought the gpx superlight and its great. Now looking for a better mousepad.
I'd love to buy the gpxs as well, but Logitech's double clicking issues really drive me away from it. I'm probably just going to wait until a wireless mouse as good as the gpxs comes around, but without double clicking issues (might end up being the viper mini ultimate, might be an updated gpxs with fixed issues, or even the mo-w, who knows). Until then, I'll just get a wired mouse like the AtomPalm Hydrogen once that comes out (potentially by the end of this month).
@@FiniteCS logitech swotched out their undeevolted omron 50Ms to omron 20Ms which dont have the double clicking. They're on the gpx and the newer batches of the gpro aswell
me and the bois playing Roblox with this monitor
randomfrankp mousepad?
Is it better than DyAc+?
yo u play krunker too nice
The Dyac+ monitor is $500 on Amazon so almost the same price. Would love a comparison review.
Isn't Dyac just ULMB, but BenQ's fancier tuning of it to make it "better?" If he didn't notice any motion blur on this monitor, idk if he'd notice anything with the BenQ. When it comes to this monitor vs. a BenQ, it probably mainly comes down to price, IPS vs. TN panel/color reproduction, newer tech on the ASUS/ease of life features, the Nvidia response time gimmick, and the monitor stand not being as dumb as ASUS's. Of course I might be wrong, but I doubt anything too crazy would be noticeable.
@@FiniteCS I haven't used dyac, but yeah it basically eliminates any motion blur you would usually get. Problem is, if you don't notice MB, maybe its because you havent experienced dyac before. I bet we experience the blur without realising it. It's probably way easier for our eyes to spot enemies without any blur. ofc all speculation since ive never used one, but i'd assume thats the case since its so desriable in e-sports
@@chrisdafa Is it that desirable in esports? A lot of tournaments will get sponsored by Dell/Alienware and have Alienware monitors, or maybe by ASUS and have ASUS monitors, and I never see pros complain about having to use those monitors compared to their BenQ or other monitors they use at home for practicing. I mean there's a reason why pros will always bring their own keyboard, mouse, and mousepad, but when it comes to monitors, they just use what the tourney organizers set up on the stage for them, same with the PCs, chairs, and IEMs (under the soundproof headphones). Maybe I don't check pro Twitter accounts enough to see their hatred of non-Dyac monitors at tournaments, but it just feels weird to see them called "desirable in esports." But as you said, we can only speculate since it can only be determined when you use it yourself and can form your own opinions on it.
@@FiniteCS Yes Dyac+ is just motion blur reduction but it's the best implementation of it in the monitor market with zero brightness decrease.
I used BenQ's 240hz DyAc monitor for about 2 years. I know a lot of people opt to not even use the feature but I loved it. The Asus 360hz definitely feels more smooth then the BenQ, not by much but I feel it is definitely noticeable. I do miss the DyAc, but I'm happy with the trade-off and used to playing without it at this point. With that being said there's a few things to consider, can your PC even run what you're playing and maintain upwards of 360FPS? I play CSGO and have a good rig so in most situations I can maintain that FPS. I'd say if you have the money for it, the Asus 360hz is totally worth it. If you don't have that much money to fork out, the BenQ is really close to it in performance and you wont be missing out on a lot.
what do u guys think ab 360hz??
very pog
1440p 240 is better
Xl2546k is way better because of dyac
I'd say with a strong rig it's a must for csgo valorant and this kidnite thing xD and u would never go back. but u also never go back from 2k resolution in all your fav games. so the best would be a nasa computer 1440p and 360hz. :c
not good for e sports
