This show has some excellent social commentary...some subtle and other times in your face with it 😂
I think to myself ‘how did they get away with that’ while simultaneously thinking ‘I’m glad they did’ haha
Yeah literally having them throw eggs at dennis for being on the fence at an abortion rally lol. They love poking fun at divisive topics. As of so far weve seen racism, abortion and child molestation. lol
Just be ready for this shit to go so completely off the rails that you can't believe what you're laughing at. It's a slow build, but the ride is fantastic the whole way
I’m so keen to see where this show goes. The fact that it’s possible for it to go even more off the rails is intriguing haha
The woman playing the mother Stacy is Heather Donahue, who played herself (sort of) in The Blair Witch Project.
This is probably my favourite Season 1 episode, it shows one of the gangs unique style of tackling topical issues - look at it from all sides and show the worst with the gang being their usual horrible selves and then let the audience decide what's right and wrong.
I also love the visual commentary - literally attacking someone on the fence!
IASIP is one of my all time favourite shows, and while there are a few episodes that don't work for me, it's a pretty great run of 14 seasons with more to come
Also, do my ear's deceive me or is that the familiar twang of a fellow Aussie?

@@EveReacts Glad you're enjoying its wacky, everyone one is the worst, what are they going to do next antics! I tried to get a few friends into the show, but most are put off by them (the first season's rawness and low budget can be off putting - and a lot of people feel that it finds its real stride in seasons 3-4 and beyond)
At this stage the actress who plays Dee was meant to be more of a moral compass, but pushed to be one of the horrible ones too XD
She's also married to the actor, one of the original writers, and show creator that plays Mac.

I have already watched the entire show a couple of times, and I can tell you that most episodes are pretty self contained, although it would be a good idea watching the first 2 seasons in order due to all the character introductions.
Looking forward to more shenanigans from the gang!

Continuity error. The waitress and dee went to high school together. Her saying nice to meet you makes no sense a few seasons later
