Hey Peter. Just an off the cuff whimsical comment that I'm curious about. A long time ago you changed your opening greeting from Well Hello to Well here we are. I wondered if there was a particular reason for that or not. I had gotten use to the Well Hello and I can't seem to get used to the Well here we are as much. I can't imagine someone had a trademark on Well Hello! lol.
$2800 for the first bowl actually is a cheap price, the bowl was 安窑 or in English "an yao", it was made during Emperor Yong Zhen, there was a story about it. due to the political reason, emperor Yong Zhen ordered not to mark the "大明成化年制" on the bottom of any bowl. this bowl has great potential in terms of market value in the future.
Of course...and the Giant BonFire in the Cove , and a rather amazing fireworks display, block parties ...and no one bothered getting a Permit ...but then they never do.
