People are talking about how the mom "suddenly went crazy" but I actually think for something so short and limited to a game, this video handled depression very well. You see immediately that privately the mom is struggling to cope but she looks happy on the outside - functional depression. Her kids are just kids and can't notice, her colleagues don't care. It progressively worsens until she has a psychotic break. This is a horror story but also a story about society neglecting mental health, especially moms' mental health, as long as they don't make trouble and fit the "perfect mom" stereotype on the surface.

I started to read down after reading this and you are right. Everyone is focusing that she looks insane when the truth is her mind was not at the right answer stable place to make the right decision because she truly was depressed. She loved her kids, the only reason she killed the two of them was because her mind thought that would solve the problem and she’d get the office man to love her.

@@lgbtmunnity12yearsago95 Yeah but she was depressed. Her mind was giving her the wrong thoughts. It’s sad, but depression can do a lot of awful things to your mind that to everyone else just come off as crazy. She needed help.

5:37 holy shit this actually terrifies me. The weird graphics, the noises she makes, her eyes, the way she moves and the way the audio doesn't match her movements. It reminds me of a horror game that I can't remember the name of. I never thought a sims story could actually be this scary. You have my respect

This story reminds of the case of the mothers Diane because when she was with this guy who work with her but he broke up with her because he didn’t like kids and he hated Diane kids. So the mother got upset and try to kill her 3 kids she only killed one of kids and the other 2 kids survived but they were just injured

this parallels a lot with diane downs, her story was a lot like this. she was interested in this guy that wasn’t giving her attention and she thought the problem was her kids, so she faked a gunman shooting them. all but one died i believe. y’all should check out her interviews, creepiest stuff i’ve ever seen. this video was so well made and must have taken forever. thanks for sharing your talents ❤️

@@urmom-yf3zu No. There's a case of a woman who killed her children because the guy she was dating didn't like kids. I don't remember if she killed 1 or 2 of her children but I do know that there was one survivor, that is who told what happened. I believe the mother is still in jail.

That was intense. That was amazing story telling. It was well put together, and it's nearly impossible to think such a story and such a moral was visualized using Sims- and I'm shocked to see these kind of stories told through the platform to begin with. It's a warning, and it's a tale that's happened in real life many times. I've seen it once, with a family friend. Sometimes these kind of things... are terrible, terrifying, and undeniably real.
In my country (Colombia) there's a legend called La Llorona. According to the story, it is the banshee of a woman who drowned her children and later, repentant and cursed, looks for them at night in rivers and towns, scaring them with her wailings (Donde están mis hijos/ where are my children??)

the part where she continued to treat her children normally like any other day and then cried herself to sleep bc she wasn't coping well- is when it felt realistic to me.
At first when I saw the family picture, I thought the dad left his family. But in the end, he too covered his ex’s face, which means she was the main problem in the relationship. She wanted him to not see the kids. He wanted nothing to do with her, just the kids. So, this can happen in real life.
Not necessarily. Them having each other's face scratched out doesn't mean that she was the problem lmao. If anything, I'm willing to bet that they were both the problem. There would be little to no means for such a psychotic break over non-reciprocated love unless her love life in the past was also damaging to her mental, yknow?

To be honest I get that the mother would struggle and she’d want to find a partner, but if the boss is interested in someone else, you don’t just walk in the office and expect him to want to marry you all of a sudden. Plus she could have gotten fired by the way she acted as well. As much as it can be hard, she should move on and focus on her kids as they are the main priority, then she can find someone better that will appreciate her and her children. As much as her sanity chaotic, she has no excuse for killing her children over a man that won’t love her back, she thinks having no children will solve the problem but it won’t, she just lost 2 precious angels and traumatised and injured 1. I feel sorry for the father because he’s lost 2 of his children and has to live with the fact that his only surviving child will be suffering with the trauma and scars for life. I do have a theory that he could have left his ex (aka the mother) due to her psychotic behaviour (like her obsession for love) since from beginning to end there was a scribble at either the father’s or mother’s faces. Maybe she refused to have him see his children due to this and that’s why we don’t see him look after his children until he’s beside his only child at the hospital. It’s scary to think this can happen in real life, but I’m glad awareness is being spread in order to prevent it from happening. Personally I think the mother should have seeked mental help so that she could deal with her heart break naturally.
Well, actually that wasn’t her excuse. She has no excuse at all. The truth is that she was in a deep depression. Her mind started to think of wrong ways to solve all her problems. Sadly, what happened is her mind told her that if she killed her 3 children, the man might love her. She wasn’t psychotic, she just needed to get help. To find a place that could help her overcome her depression. Divorces happen all the time. Doesn’t mean he left her because he thought she was crazy. In reality he probably left because he knew she wanted the man at the office instead of him. She loved her children, that’s very clear, but her mind was not in the stable place to make the right decision and you should never judge someone for that.

Her thinking is off meaning she’s clearly psychotic probably bipolar. I get you think she’s just misunderstood but she shows signs of derangement throughout the story that you’re like ignoring

In the philippines they call it "naloka de amor" it means the person got totally insane because of love. So basically that happens in real life, a lot of people go insane because of that, and end up living in the streets.

The bodies of the little girls were found in the ocean, tied with rocks... He did it to get back on his wife and get rid of the "burden" of being a father....

WAAAAAAIT!! The ending...I wasn't ready. This was a great story even though it was sad and realistic.
As shocking as it is, it sadly happens. Near where I love a mother of 6 children killed 5 of them.. As it seems those murders were planned. The process is still going - It's hard to believe that such horrible things happen..

Why should a lady's life revolve around a man? She has 3 lovely kids why get rid of them just to be with a man, even if that man decide to date her or love her he may one day leave or not is not certain . Is understandable to want a man by her side but most she kill her own kids just because he rejected her? All in the name of love, such a person isn't capable of love, for someone who said she is in love with her boss can just wake up one day and kill her own kids, Just because she was rejected by him.
Remember Susan Smith? She was the woman who drowned her two little boys because the man she was dating didn't want children.
Life and mental illness are way more complex then that. It seemed that she was already struggling for a long time. It's easy to judge people for the actions that we consider absolutely insane, while ignoring everything that led them to that point and caused them to think of their actions as perfectly reasonable. That's why mental healthcare needs to be normalized and accessible, so early intervention is possible.
This is honestly beautiful and shows how much you keep improving I felt like this was an Actual movie it also shows that life can go from being good to terribly wrong I like the fact you don't hide this and show reality to people. Keep up the amazing work and stay safe and healthy!

This was amazingly done. It's such a heart-wrenching story. When I first saw the title, I expected a tragic ending (several different endings popped in my head). Even though it was only 9-10 minutes, it was so deep.

Never put your love life in front of your kids. It’s hard for some people but as a parent I’m sure you’d want your kids to be happy. It can be hard in what type of situation you may be in but loving your kids for sure gives you happiness.

The juxtaposition of the ‘cookie cutter mom’ and the phsycho killer is so creepy. The way this storyline deepens the horror behind the broken interior of a “perfect woman” is way beyond the sims 4. So good!💙

That is so sad and what’s sadder is that a lot of single mothers feel they need to be in love so badly that they neglect their children and they fail to realize the happiness and love they already have in their lives like this was dark but it’s showing a sense of reality too. I honestly vow to myself to never choose anyone over my children in the future no matter how hard life gets

This reminds me of a true story. There was a woman whose currently in prison for this, but she killed her middle child and left her youngest paralyzed. Her oldest survived and has a speech impediment now. I recommend looking into the case.
