I had my hearing the end of 1/21 . My lawyer asked me all the questions. I was relieved that it was pretty easy going. No difficult questions and no rush or pressure In my answers.. Surprisingly i received my Highly Favorable decision in the mail in a little under 2 weeks

Very helpful. My hearing was rescheduled from june 30th to end of October. Telephone is only offered during pandemic. Im hearing some good outcomes. Its been a long 5 years for me. Praying I will be approved finally.
I was one of the lucky ones and didn’t have to do a hearing they just used information I provided on the forms submitted. It did help that from the very first doctor visit I made sure to have a copy describing what was done and medications prescribed in hand before leaving their office, a years worth of up to date evidence that could be easily verified. Also my primary doctor submitted forms that backed up my claim of be disabled, Pulmonary Hypertension in case anybody was curious if it related to their disability.
it helps if when you find out your law judge has only a 20% approval rating so you have to be legally blind or missing a hand and my hearing was very short, very rushed as if she and the medical examiner wanted to go to lunch and could care less about me and my medical issues
@@scatterbrain44 Yes I did get my disability on a partially favorable decision though meaning I got awarded my monthly benefits but was only awarded 2 little measly months of back pay which really sucked, but I am extremely grateful just to finally be awarded my monthly benefits which also ended up being the full amount of SSI benefits of $794.00 a month. The key to me winning was my MRI that showed I had severe arthritis in my lower back and degenerative disc disease, and my age of 54 years old

Fighting this gruesome fight just to get our disability benefits that we have worked for all of our lives, and have paid it into the system with our years of hard labor seems to be an all out task, sort of like boot camp. It isn't like we haven't worked at all and have sat around on our sofa's and rocking chairs all of our lives, we have earned and deserve the social security disability benefits. By the time we get what's due to us many of us have just about pretty much lost about everything we own, bills are way overdue and behind, we have borrowed from just about everyone we know to borrow from, it's just utterly ridiculous to say the least.

Pick up the phone, lol 😆 when I talk on the phone holding it up to me ear , my hands fall asleep in less then 5 min. So now what? The only way I have been able to talk on the phone in the last 3 yrs is speaker phone and even just holding it close enough to hear sometimes makes my hands fall asleep. So I don't get to even talk to my grandchildren as much as I would like to because of this . Not to mention that I can't sit for more then 15 to 20 min at a time otherwise I get so stiff I can't get up with out help.

Hey Iam in the hearing process my doctor also backed up my claim but they denied me so Iam at the hearing level
