Questionable luxury purchases - any regrets?

Plus you have to consider the space it takes up in your bag so I default to cardholders anyway
You are not alone at making questionable purchases. I shop at one department store here in the USA where I can return up to 2 years. So if I have an item, unworn, with tags still on, I can return/exchange or even get my money back (but it's embarrassing to wait 2 years to bring something back). I never wait the 2 years. Usually, it will take me 3-6 months to realize I don't need my questionable purchase. I am doing better in shopping as I can determine if I will wear an item, because I only buy items what I see myself wear daily. The key is not to "occasion" buy thinking I'll be going out to parties, event's, clubs, dates, and dinners when that never happens...LOL.
That is a very generous returns policy so I guess no one has tried to abuse it because otherwise they would not honour that policy today. And I agree that (especially if you can only afford a couple of expensive items) you shouldn’t buy just for a specific occasion. It’s all about cost per wear.
