  • Hey guys here is an informational video about me raw feeding my dog. I go over myths, facts, and benefits, while I meal prep my dog's food for the week. I have seen such an improvement in my dogs health since raw feeding and I highly recommend it to other dog or cat owners! Please be sure to do a lot of research before raw feeding to make sure you create the right balance of nutrients for your pet. There are also plenty of commercial raw for brands that you can buy online and in stores as well!

How do you know what proportions of each item to put in the bowl?

Have a 10.5 week old Dal. Thank you for a great informative demonstration video!!! I am so intimidated and dont know where to get supplies. I guess grocery store has most of what I need?

yes grocery store has most what you need! If you want other things like pre-grounded bone in meat you can get it shipped to you from companies online or from a local butcher. My dog won’t eat bones but that’s really important for calcium content so I get it from a local butcher. also if you need to know the exact measurements and stuff go to perfectlyrawsome. com they have a raw food calculator to tell you exactly how many ounces of everything you need for your dogs weight and i’ve found it super helpful 😊😊

@@LP-yu7xr Thank you! I am aware of Purines. I am lucky enough to have an LUA Dal. I am still careful about purines, even though they shouldn’t cause much issue with her.

Would you make a video about what type of food you recommend specifically for Dalmatian’s? I’ve been reading a lot about raw and information have been conflicting about what’s good and not for him so. Thank you

Dalmatian as a dog. You don't do specific things for specific breeds. You feed according to the size of the dog.

Good grief with the germ phobia already. I've been raw feeding for 21 years, I've been vegan personally for 35 years, and I do not engage in these ridiculous sanitation rituals like using toxic sanitizers, washing my hands when they're not visibly dirty, etc. Please, people, start thinking critically about these ideas. The boogiemen microorganisms that are found when dogs or humans are sick did not BRING the sickness. As long as your attention can be directed to that guilty little microscopic vermin, you're dependent on the medical industry to kill it, neutralize it, and "immunize" you against it. Find the real causes of your sickness (mostly what you EAT), and be empowered.
It does not matter what all of humanity thinks. The truth exists independently of human 'consensus'.

Kibble or tin zre highly processed!!!
As we now know with humzn health, processed is bad for us!
So, why would anybody feed their dog processed food?

I 100% agree with "L P" below. I was kind of shocked that you were adding chicken heart and gizzards. I literally gasped! Dalmatians need low purine food. Absolutely no organ meats. I hope you stopped feeding your Dal organ meats. I'm a Dal dad myself. Mine is 2 years old and I've been extremely cautious with his food. The rest of your video is fine. Good Luck!

Actually you want to avoid offal which are secreting organs such as liver and kidney. Both chicken hearts and chicken gizzards are considered muscle organs in the world of raw feeding and are safe to feed. I suggest joining the Raw Fed Dalmatians group on Facebook for information on what is considered offal or not.

@@lancerfan35 Thanks, I just joined the group and will discuss further for some additional clarity. Purines are no joke.
