i've seen people make one plam waves, i've only ever seen one stand up make one wave here. Its just looks like the end section has the wrong shape of reef which goes to shallow creating a run away end section of death.

Your skill on these waves is amazing…. a true master of body boarding and more importantly, barrel riding. There is so much to learn from you, whether it’s your upper body positioning, knowing exactly what to do with your fins for the most speed and drawing perfect lines. Like the waves at 13:55 and 17:05 🤯🤯🤯
Is this wave apocalypse? It looks too evenly breaking for apocalypse. And do you try to bend your legs up slightly to keep your fins out of the water when in the barrel?

this wave seems super fast like not makeable on a lot, seen it in other videos, crazy how hollow its is, but looks incredably shallow and dangerous

There was some amazing water shots but it would have been nice to see a couple from a different angle
Pierre never forget you, Enrique Bonilla from Puerto Rico, Jeff Hubbard from Hawaii and Guillerme Tamega were the key figures in this shit that redefined the highest aerials ever made. Dont you ever forget you are top 4. Forever braddah. Theres nothing in the mind of the human that could replicate or explain what it feels to drop 25ft above a 13ft wave closeout ahead of the whitewash for the thrill of it all. Never forget. If we ever rode a contest finals you take the wave. Dont make me have this argument now. I would let Jeff win too. Im trying to loose some weight right now upper 200's but recently I still got all my super hardcore manouvers on tiny waves like my very strong reverses with a past of straight surreal AIR as these butterfly gut connections that you see the whole coast or it feels you dropped from a heli, the eyeballs of the sponger never forget. You must encourage other spongers to ride like you did because they suck and you were technically the last one, year wise me and jeff early 2004-2006 you, 2009-2011 redefined what was possible in terms of air time big time, and probably until forever you remain one of the last true UFO hitters. Peace love drug free and tons of bagguete.

I wonder whether anyone rides kneeboards any more - ? You can still use fins and surely you have more control than on a bodyboard. Just displaying my ignorance but I'm old enough to have seen Crystal Voyager when it first came out. George Greenough did some cool moves on his kneeboard even then

@@barndog8047 I do. But it's the same thing for 20 minutes... and the slow motion -_- Bodyboard is about the speed, the barrel and hit the lip.

this wave is all about getting pitted not going to see to much maneuvers
when you are dealing with an unmakable closeout barrel to dry reef there isnt a lot of choices.
