- "I have been singing this song live in concert since Selah began, so we felt like it was time to finally put it on an album! We had the great privilege of working with Dolly on our "Rose of Bethlehem" album nine years ago, and she and I talked about this song that day in the studio. It's the most meaningful song to her out of the many she's written (and that's saying something!). She wrote it about her mother, and it's a true story from her childhood of extreme poverty. But as Dolly put it so beautifully that morning, "I love this song because it's about a philosophy and attitude towards life. You can have nothing of material worth in this world, and still be richer than most. It's all in what you value." Dolly certainly knows whereof she speaks, and this beautiful lady's dreams, courage, and kindness have impacted my life since I was a child. Thank you, Dolly, for dreaming big and following your heart-you didn't know it at the time, but you inspired a little boy in East TN to go out and do the same!" -- Allan

I probably hear Coat of Many Colors millions of times on the radio and it never touched me the way that Allan's rendition does. Maybe the Lord bless and keep you!
Dolly has always been one of my favorites since I was a small child! Now that I am a grown woman and have had the opportunity to sing for Christ and really understand some of the things Dolly has been singing about all these years I love her even more! My ultimate dream would be to sing with her one day! This is a beautiful version of her timeless song!

This touched my soul. Not only are y'all one of my favorite people to hear. It's such a blessing to go to work ever morning and hear yalls music. I have played piano for 20 years and I'm 24. I've always wanted to play for a Christian band but I know it's all in the Lords timing. I love every song y'all put out and it touches my soul. God bless you all for what you do.
