This Gas Pipeline Project is being carried out in the Southeast and South-south regions of Nigeria, but no one from this region is at the helm of the affairs, rather Northerners are made in-charge. Mele Kyari is Kanuri from Borno State and overseeing the natural resources of the Eastern Region. The Gas line is laid beyond Kano, but with a sub-station in Kano; while the Southern States do not have a single Gas Processing Station.
