Nate Dog, the puck is his bone. Watched him from the Mooseheads to my favorite team, and then a Cup. He's a underrated leader, even when he doesn't think he is. Has his own live in cook. Probably has the best crossover skate style and with speed. The Avs had him at $6.5m for 7 years because the oly time he fail to reach a point a game, it was probably the best contract in the NHL at the time.
I am so glad people finally are understanding how good mackinnon is, hes rlly close to mcdavid as the best player in the world. I personally think that the even strength points stat speaks for that the most, and mackinnon is the best all around player you can find on this earth

While McDavid might be faster in a straight line, Mackinnon is just TERRIFYING when he picks up a puck on his backhand, dips his shoulder, leans on his outside edge and EXPLODES through the neutral zone. I would rather get run into by McDavid 2x/day for 365 days a year than get hit by Nate once.

I love how he not only uses crossovers to accelerate but he almost jumps into them. was trying to practice that last night. Just watching skaters like mckinnion and mcdcvid makes me a better skater every time I get out there.

McKinnon is essentially the LeBron James of Hockey right now. Lebron was able to use his larger than everybody else's body/mass combined with his top level skill to just play through and over everybody. they couldn't hold their ground against a force that big and fast.

I'm starting to wonder if it's just a coincidence or if there's something there, where there has been at least 2 players now that have needed to take leave's from the team for substance abuse or mental help with the recent leave taken by Nich. Is it possible that the work environment for the Avs is a problem that could be leading to them having the most man games lost each season due to injury or other reasons? I'm just speculating, not necessarily that Nate is a toxic leader.
Mack is nuts definitely top3 in the league. But get real mcdavid is easily the best in the league right now. If it hadn’t been for his slow start he would be right up there with kuch and Mack in points. Mack is definitely better in some areas but mcdavid is easily the better offensive guy.
McDavid is a higher points producer. However Mac is a better play maker, zone entery player, defensive player, hitter, fighter and leader. Mac is the whole package and not enough people give credit to that. If Mac could stay healthy like McDavid has in his career I think their point totals would be far harder to differentiate too.

A better fighter sure but I would say they are pretty equal as leaders to. Everyone looks up to mcdavid just like mack. Their work ethics are both insane. Mack is stronger on the puck and way better in the corners. Maybe a better play driver to but that’s debatable. They both show up just as much in the playoffs to.
