Destination Wedding in Ireland - Mount Juliet Estate - Luxury Ireland Wedding Venue - Emma + Annie

This destination wedding in Ireland felt like a movie.
Emma and Annie exchanged vows at the luxurious Mount Juliet Estate, a five-star hotel in Kilkenny.
Annie, an American who traveled to Ireland for a year abroad, met Emma on the lacrosse field. The two of them quickly became inseparable and what began as an innocent school girl crush quickly transformed into an incredible romance. When Emma and Annie realized they couldn't live without the other, they made every sacrifice imaginable for their relationship, including periods of long distance and back and forth travel between countries.
But all those challenges would eventually lead to their wedding day, where these two shared heartfelt personal vows and celebrated with their loved ones.
The event began on Thursday with a lively barbeque, where guests were able to admire the breathtaking Irish countryside, dance to traditional Irish music, and mingle with the foxhounds.
By Friday, the anticipation was palpable! Emma and Annie got ready together with their bridesmaids before separating to do a first look. Despite the on and off rain, these girls were nothing but laughs and smiles as they held each other tight.
During the ceremony, Emma and Annie's close friend acted as the officiant and gave the audience a witty and insightful look into Emma and Annie's love story. After the girls exchanged rings, their guests sent the couple off with a shower of confetti that created an absolutely epic exit into the reception.
The evening continues at Hunter's Yard, where guests enjoyed a candle lit dinner and several speeches from friends and family of the couple. Afterward, the party swung into high gear when The Mixtape began their set. Emma and Annie danced the night away, surrounded by all their loved ones.
To say that we are grateful for this experience is an understatement. It was an absolute honor getting to know these two and being invited into their world. Their story is one of resilience, strength, and true love. We feel so lucky to now be able to call these two friends, and we can't wait to see where life takes them next. We know that together, they can truly accomplish anything.
