This game ... It is almost the MAIN REASON why I hate lonely games with no allies. I was scared every time I play any mission of it!
I was still a young kid when I first played IGI, probably around 5 or 6. But now the series will return with" IGI Origins", I can't wait to see it!
Oh boii, when I was a kid, and I used to hear that "Hey You" or "You, Stop" oh em jee, that used to be a shiver for at least 5 minutes.. and I barely could do the first mission. Sucked at this game.. but now I am re-trying after 12 years or so.. and have become way better at gaming compared to when I used to play that times.

i guess its AI was very easy but the looks of the game, the Russian Snow in most of the missions made it bit more scary to complete.

1st attempt -. 1 day
2nd attempt - not successfull
3rd attempt - 32min 21 sec and again 4th time I just completed it in 12 min

An innovation of pc game missions was "border crossing" + "GOD" + defending proboi in the Russian town. I like Border crossing the most.
God was very tricky too. But yeah border crossing was the best. Especially on hard difficulty
I used to snipe enemies from far away without a sniper by using the binoculars. Basically just aim the binoculars at the enemy, change to ur AK or something and start popping one shot rounds.

It was very tricky to do so, because you have to control the fire. Trying to hit single shot out of an AK47 is very difficult in the game and still it didn't work all the time.

@@Dingiya If you want the game to be more realistic try this tweak, but make sure to backup your common/ai folder before you do it:
Make a multiple copies of the file rpg.qvm and rename to replace guard.qvm, gunner.qvm and patrol.qvm . When you play the game you will find out the enemies are more aggressive and behave as if they're expecting you.

This was a very hard mission
My moms brother who gifted me the pc and downloaded this game did this level and at last it was very nervous situation and the helicopter killed us
We could not go back because of the tank and if you wanted to hide from the soldier and get on the mountains the boundary bombs would kill you
I finished this mission by climbing on top of truck

It took 40 min to me, to complete this mission 8 yeARS ago in 3rd try. That time i wad 14 yrs old. I used to kill all the enemies. And the alarm got raised 3-4 times but then also i used to complete the mission.
