Movie Summary:

Lee Pace is the actor who plays Ronan. He was also in The Fall, Pushing Daisies, Marmaduke, Lincoln, Breaking Dawn, the Hobbit, etc... He has been in a ton of movies and shows but many people don't recognize his face as he often changes his looks for the characters he plays, take Ronan as an example.
Guardians of the Galaxy was the first movie that I watched from the Marvel Universe. I watched the movies in sequence. I’m addicted to these movies but this was is still my favorite, the dialog and the music much of the music is from my era, I’m a 72 year old kid. Best characters in any movie in my mind. I enjoy watching your reaction. I watched them alone so I enjoy your reactions! I am Groot.

1, 3, 2, and the Christmas Special goes equal with 2 but none of these are bad. A of them add to their plot, and to the overall bigger plotline Marvel was creating. I love the love-hate relationship between the sisters (it's how I feel a lot of sisters are until we reach a certain age...like, I was her doll until I reached the point of individuality as a child then we had to share a room and a bed). She attempted to passively murder me, I aggressively tried to murder her...then we both grew up. After our mom died, she needed me a lot. I'm like our mom. She needs that. I miss our mom too but, she isn't like mom for me. I am like our mom though. Our family, including our aunts lean on me. It's a heavy burden.

Guardians of the Galaxy is particularly special to me as my critic's quote was featured on the Blu-ray/DVD release poster and the Blu-ray/DVD.
One thing you got wrong tho is the person who called squidward from infinity war is actually Ebony Maw, thanos right hand general and I think the leader of the black order, the guy you see in this movie is the one who owned the army that Loki sent to New York and his name is The Other
The first time you see Thanos in the MCU is in the end credits scene in the Avengers. This is the second time you see him.
The utility of a superhero having their parents die is that from that point on they MUST be more than usual in order to survive. They have to grow up too quick, which makes them relatable and when they somehow against all odds make it work? Someone to look up to

That was not the squidward dude on the screen. It was the guy who appeard in the first avengers movie as "right hand" of thanos who threatens Loki.
My personal ranking for the Guardians trilogy goes 3,1,2.
Though it's worth noting that 2 is still a fantastic movie, and one of the MCU films that I still regularly rewatch.
I personally consider GotG Vol 1-3 to be the best standalone trilogy/sub-franchise in the whole of the MCU. Highest consistent bar of quality across all films.
Every time I hear the Pina Colada song, I think of either Shrek 2 or this movie.

So Peter did get the name Star lord from his mothers note, if you look closely you can see that it’s only the present(volume 2 tape) itself that’s unopened but the letter that he’s reading he already opened and read. I think you even see it earlier in the movie opened with the unopened gift. Man it would have been a crazy coincidence that he picked the exact name she called him in the letter lol talk about luck
I'm sure called him her little Starlord before the note, I think that was an affectionate name she used for him for a while

My mom died on July 17, 2022 at 67 years old of the final stages of COPD & congestive heart failure. I watched her die slowly. It practically killed me when she died. I am still depressed about it. I was living in Wilmington, North Carolina when she died. I currently live in Danville, Virginia with my dad & twin brother.
1 3 2 but 2 is great I love all the guardian movies. They are new and fresh it felt like watching a brand new story cuz I had no idea who these characters were. When I told my husband i wanted to go see the first one... that dace scene he was looking at me like 'wth did u bring me to?' By the end he said he loved it.

I thought GotG3 was best but it really involved a lot. GotG1 was awesome, we were so psyched for the trailers. 2 was alright. The Holiday Special takes place after Avengers stuff.
I've watched Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 1 at least a dozen a year since it came out. Vol. 2: I watched twenty times since it came out. Holiday Special: twice since it came out on Disney+. Vol. 3: four times since I got it on blu ray. Here's my ranking

Good points about the dead parents for the superheroes... Supermans family - Dead. Batman's parents - dead. Iron man's parents - dead. Captain America's parents - dead.
We've even seen Spiderman's Uncle Ben and Aunt may die multiple times :P Drax's family - dead. Gamorra's family is hella dead.. Star Lord's mom - dead.
I've seen Endgame over 400 times. LOL
As for as my order... 1 Christmas Special 3... 2 was cool, no issues at all.. but if I had to rank them, I really enjoyed the Christmas special for so many reasons.
