- After two weeks in Pattaya I'm ready to move hotels. I thought I'd include thoughts on alcohol as well as the hotel review.
If you like this video give it a thumbs up, subscribe if you haven't already (a big thanks to those who already have) and remember to press that all important notification bell for latest uploads. Cheers.
Eddie, the last time I was in Pattaya I stayed in the Golden Sea. To cut a long story short, while there I had an appendicitis and was rushed to hospital where I stayed for 4 days. After being admitted I realised that I had left my safe open with all my money in it (lesson learned, keep your safe locked even when you are in your room,). Also, my wallet and laptop were left on the desk. I was convinced it would all be gone. But, when I returned, they had removed all my valuables and kept them in the hotel safe for me. And, I had left 2000 bath in a drawer that was still there when I returned to the room. Amazing honesty and typical of so many Thai people. Fantastic
The Thai would steal your shoes while your sleeping I know fact
Good to hear a positive story i hope you tipped them and gave them food and treats for there honesty and care. Most Thais are good people.
Thanks for the info, mate
My mate left his phone in the room and went home to Australia, they held it there for him till his next trip, very honest people and a good hotel in a great location 😊
@@markdumbrell2618did he not need the phone back in Australia
Eddie I’d call it a bad relationship with alcohol!! Been in the same boat as you for over 30 years. There’s no getting away from it mate. No matter how you want to sugar coat it. It goes from months of sobriety, to a few beers a few more . Then before you know it your back on it. 🤷♂️Good luck mate!!
Im 58 and off the beer over 2 years , even when i wasnt drinking i was thinking about it so it was controlling me and not the other way , the only way to beat alcohol is to give it up completely and stop torturing yourself, im not anti drink either and fair play to anyone who can take it or leave it ..Best of luck Eddy
you are on a slippery slope my friend
You're in denial Eddy. The longer you stick around these party towns, eventually they will suck you in, particularly if you don't have a lot else to do. Rationalizing having one or two beers on a regular basis is not ok. It's only a matter of time until you let your guard down and you'll be back to your old habits. I know that's not what you wanted to hear but I've been there. As I mentioned in your last video, the quicker you make the transition from "tourist" mode to "resident" mode with a daily routine, the easier it will be for you to avoid the temptation of slipping back into abusing the sauce.
"Nobody wants to be on camera..." Judging from the brief glimpse of the 75+ crowd hanging out at the pool, it works both ways...we didn't want to see them either! Thanks for the favour.
Nice hotel. Incredible value. Spent two weeks in Chiang Mai in the Nimman area last year and no way you could get anything close to that there.
Alcohol is completely fine in moderation. I have the misfortune of having several hardcore alcoholics in my family/peer group and was one of them myself for a couple of decades. I quit temporarily about 10 years ago and what really struck me when I quit was I noticed how the people around me behaved. The people I would normally associate with would get sloppy drunk and would be completely insufferable. I stopped being a heavy drinker around that time and barely touch the stuff today. Nothing is more pathetic in my opinion is people in their 50s, 60s and beyond being a sloppy drunk.
@@davidsmith2132 Are you claiming the markadler8968's opinion is not his? Who's opinion is he supposedly plagiarizing? It seems that you may have a much larger problem you're dealing with.
If you're controlling the drink, It's out of control.
The problem you have in tourist places is people come over for 2 weeks holiday and get pissed every night but if you are living there full time you cannot afford to do that in many ways, monetary and health wise. Personally I would allow 2 nights a week where you go out have a few beers and then go home. Your health is the most important thing you have as it affects all aspects of your life. I gave up beer for a year and I found myself eating chocolate and other junk and I realized it's not necessarily the alcohol but the sugar and I think most of us are addicted to sugar as it's in everything and is more addictive than heroin. Good luck with your adventures!!
Will be honest from my point of view it’s not a “strange relationship” but absolutely text book! I think u know genuinely Ed that the booze is just straight up poison mate! It’s a slippery slope, you talk the talk of “control” mate but believe me I’ve been where you are several times and told myself the same stories. I knocked it on the head finally 5 years ago after several sober stints lasting months and months at a time and if I was completely honest I knew deep down I was letting myself down. I was really worried for u when u said you were managing it as from watching your vids a long long time now I can see myself in you. I have all the respect in the world for u mate and expect push back from my comments here but I just sincerely wish the absolute best for you. Take care Ed
Great comment mate.
Booze is not poison, stop being so dramatic. I enjoy having a few beers once or twice a week, so what? If don’t have the self control to have a few beers without getting addicted, then you’ve got bigger issues than alcohol mate.
What the hell are you rambling on about?
What would be the bigger issues?@@Ben-yp9nh
I have not drank alcohol for 5 years straight. I used to be pissed every day. I used to make excuses why I drank. Then realized that alcohol controlled my entire life. I took a very disciplined decision to stop. Full stop. I've never looked back.
It's easy to give up alcohol - I've done it hundreds of times.😂
That's the way Ed.
Mysef I have problems with alcohol.
Before I go to a pub, I ask myself, for what reason ?
If I answer with a positive reason, then no problem.
Definitely avoid alcohol at home.
Hi Eddy, keep up the awesome videos and posts, Mate cheers Marty from New Zealand 🙏👍☀️
Enjoyed the video mate. Good to hear you having a talk about alcohol because it is an important subject and alot of people have a strange relationship with it including myself🇮🇪👍
How your starting to drink again is just the start of it
I hear you, Ed. I've turned into a raging alcoholic the last few years and it has cost me quite a bit. I am hating on everyone, I have turned into a raging hypocrite and blame everyone else for my problems. I dox people's families and made friends with the worst of the worst people. But I refuse to admit I have a problem and will keep making an ass of myself.
I do all that sober
Hahaha
I admire your honesty good luck.
Think you have just admitted to it 😄
Hi Eddie, I'm so glad you're keeping your promise to knock excessive drinking on the head. You must feel better having lost weight. Keep it up, and good luck to you !!!
It did not end well.
Good luck Eddie , living the dream , enjoy watching your adventures, good on you .
Interesting video Ed and ignore the key board warriors .Good luck on your travels i look forward to your adventures..
Alcohol again……..either pack it in or don’t!! No in between it’s one or the other…….
Seems you’re scared of the stuff, make your mind up lad.
The whole Alcohol episode is getting to you, you’re body language etc exudes it.
Good Luck.
Stayed at The Golden Sea many, many times. Great place.
Lad....lol
Ed, one of the reasons I personally like your channel, is that you have the personality to pull it off, WITHOUT having to film the nightlife or the girls, or people that don't want to be filmed, and in the same vein, you also don't have to be a raging booze bag to do your vlogs either as a result of your personality. I think it's respectful that you don't feel like you have to be cringey and film the nightlife when people don't want that, especially now that these are your new digs, you don't need that either. I like Side Trip Life and channels like yours for example just showing us around, more than good enough for me.
Couldn't get 2 better channels to give it to you like it is. Glad someone else thinks like me. Bushybiy Oz.
Thanks, mate
Love Side Trip Life!
@@STEADY599 eddy if I come to Thailand could I hang around with you
@The voice..... really ?? then why are you looking at a Pattaya vlog. Maybe stick to you moms basement and take naughty pictures of yourself secretly. OMG !!
I'm wishing you luck man, I've been watching Pattaya video's on CZcams for a couple of years since I retired and one popped up on the browser about retiring in the town. Believe it or not I'd never heard of it before!
Very sensible attitude to drinking, I played in a good little rock band years back with a top grade singer, I was the guitar player, I found out that no matter how talented you are there's a co-ordination limit to good performance. So I always played sober, maybe half a pint. The singer was brilliant up to 2 pints of Guinness but any more and we were a pub band, really sad!
Although I retired, pension and all I still get some private work, so the likely hood of Pattaya is small, perhaps a holiday. I'm enjoying your stories, you had honourable mention by welsh boy webby in one of his shows. I'm enjoying Everything Pattaya and Buzzin' Pattaya and cheep dave. There's quite a few of you guys out there, all different, There's also TNT Tim Newton and of course Steve Rosse of Turtle beech. Best wishes from a cold England
Good Review .May well give this hotel a go on my return to Thailand from Vietnam in a couple of weeks. Cheers
Good video Eddie, hotel review was well done. As for the drinking follow your heart if you don't want it their are alternatives, you will find your groove
Great channel mate, I'll head that way in a few weeks. Cheers
Now you control the alcohol mate!! Good for you and shows great character and self insight!! All things in moderation (well most of the time lol). Great hotel review also😊
It seems like you don’t have a useful interest in life that occupies your time. Apart from making CZcams content to subsidise your lifestyle, films aimed at like minded elderly men that have the time to spend watching repetitive diatribes and Pattaya street scenes. Living alone out of a suitcase in a red light district , only having casual acquaintances with mostly pot belly drinkers in bars , and having so much idle time is a recipe for gradual self harm, a few over a long period day after day add up and can end up with all manner of older age health issues.
My advise would be to move into an apartment. Find an interesting pass time ( called a ‘pass time’ for a reason.) Use a swimming pool to swim building up the amount of lengths daily as a fitness routine, can’t swim use a gym. If you can’t find friends outside of the tourist bars one way to enjoy your own company will be easy in Thailand , get stoned. Finally most men that visit Pattaya in the elderly / divorced / single group end up supporting a bar girl and her family, and that is a fact because they keep their brains in their trousers.
From the looks of that pool they Definitely offer a Senior Citizen Discount : ) You're the Man Eddy. Ya Big Handsome Bloke. Love from Colombia
Steady Ed. You are looking unsteady my friend 😂😂 Stay of the alcohol give it a break.. 😮
Good video, Eddie. Have had issues with alcohol these last three years but have it back under my control again. It destroyed everything. A good servant but a bad master. Am repairing things slowly, but things aren't ever going to be the same. That's life eh? Enjoy your vlogs. Keep it up. Best of luck with everything. 😊
Thanks, mate
Awesome video Steady Eddy! -21C here in Chicago at the moment.
Thanks for your honesty Uncle Ed.. im currently in the middle of taking 4 weeks off the booze but i usually do 3 days on 4 days off.. that works for me but youll find what works for you.. all the best, cheers .
Best of luck!
Yea real honest look what happened

Great video Edward 👍
Did you feel better when you were not drinking, did you think more clearly, did you feel the benefit for the weight loss. 8 years working in a rehab clinic in the 90’s…I’ve seen it all. You are not an alcoholic, and sobriety will set you free. You will be writing books for fun.
Good to hear from you, mate

One of my good traits is I’ve never been controlled by alcohol.
I can take it or leave it.
Moderation is always the key to it all.
Hi Eddie I admire you for what you have done leaving for good.stay safe and enjoy it xxx
If there is one thing more boring than a drunk, it's an ex drinker always going on about how long it is since they had a drink, and how much better they claim to be feeling.
I like the honesty on this you tube channel. Alcohol is something not to take lightly. Especially in a party place like Pattaya. I like this quote and think it applies to this subject as well as other areas of life. ; " If you fail to plan , you plan to fail ".
Thankyou
You talk about drink far too much not to be an alcoholic.
Quit it and never talk about it again.
Ed, see if you can give up mentioning copyright music for 9 months 😂
Lol and stop saying very very. Can anyone count how many times very is said ? It’s a very very lot 😎
@@andrewskilton1086 He only says it SPORADICALLY. 🤭
I realized bargaining with myself about alcohol was a slippery slope. "Just one beer, one drink every once in a while," I'd say, then logic would melt away. "Enjoy life!" I'd tell myself, and give in. Finally, I had to stop cold turkey. Every morning, I start with the promise: "No drinking today." Age catches up, you know? Our bodies in our 60s (66 here) can't handle alcohol/beer like they did in our 30s & 40s.
Very true. I'm certainly not as bad as I was.
@@STEADY599 All the best to you, Eddy.
Eddie talking about cutting back is my fave. I love it
Great review and hopping all will be great there and Cambodia. I quit drinking awhile ago only socially at times. Prefer soda or water now in Cambodia. Take care enjoy your new life.😊
Congrats, Eddie. You look more healthy now and its been noted that your room reviews no longer have empty Samsong bottles in them! 😅
Enjoy!!
Hey Eddie. I’ve turned 57 and ‘somehow’ I’ve managed to stop drinking. My goal is not to quit for life but I just say I’ll stay sober for today/tonight. I spent a month in the Philippines in August and I’m heading back for another month this Saturday. I tried AA and got sober for three months. That’s the longest since I was a teenager! I think for me the hangovers now are just too brutal as I’ve gotten older. I only drink beer but even four or five ruins the next day. Maybe the saying ‘your poison is your cure’ has merit. I’ve also lost weight and discovered I have a lot more time available as a result. Again I’m not going to put on added pressure telling myself that I’ve quit for life because it’s not a moral issue but a health one for me. Thanks for sharing mate. 🙏
Good to hear from you
One day at time the phillipinnes is much more relaxong place too enjoy it😅😅
Well done Bud ! Been Sober well over 30 years now . One day at a time. I don’t lecture anybody about there drinking or life but always make myself available for a chat . By the way Heavy Drinkers never question there drinking but if you are questioning your drinking maybe it’s time too ? Just saying 😊 . Wish everyone well on there journey in life .
Eddie the most important thing about any (Alcohol) Condition is to recognise that you have a condition, many many people live in denial, congratulations you have made the BIGGEST step, once you know about this you can deal with it.
I gave up the drink 3 1/2 years ago after trying to control for a few years, hard at first but dont miss it now, or the hangovers and money spent, be interesting to hear how the controlled drinking goes over the next few months now you are back in Thailand. Good Luck with the new life
I found what helped me was really educating myself on the nitty gritty of what alcohol does to the brain and body. I watched endless documentaries on it, until I couldn’t honestly go near it anymore. The social conditioning, especially being from the U.K., where one’s abstinence is practically viewed as an affront to all that is British, really does take a while to shift. But, the reality is, alcohol really is an awful thing, and it quite literally poisons us. I really hope you manage to find a path to continued freedom from its clutches, Eddie mate. Enjoy your retirement 🌅
Thanks, mate
Great video Eddie. You have lost a massive amount of weight. I am controlling my drinking too. I enjoy a few beers in Pattaya but not getting pissed out my head like I used to. Not happening any more. And I prefer it. A nice massage sober suits me better now. When alcohol has been part of your culture, family and experience it is hard to break. But it can be done.
Cheers, mate
Thanks for update Eddie. Could I ask if you could show us one of the cheapest hotels there. Back in the 90s could pick a room up in Bangkok for around 100bht Have you thought of video vlogs of trailing around showing us places that are of the beaten track.. Just a thought. Take care buddy
I stayed at the Golden Sea once and I agree with your review. Good value for the money. Two minor negative remarks: my room was clean but there was an obvious smell of cigarettes (I'm a non smoker and always ask for a non smoking room) and the mattress was relatively hard and springy although not as hard as the typical "concrete" Thai mattresses.
all of a sudden we have an expert on alcohol.your choice.
I'm with you Eddie. I enjoy a beer or 2 but not to the extent of all nighter these days. I'm back in the hotel before midnight and often earlier. And its great to wake up refreshed and then take a walk along the beach front before having breakfast. But as always, each to his own.
Godspeed, for me Pattaya was 2019. Now i wanna try another place, Thailand has its charms but the world is big my friend.
Hi Eddie, I've been following your channel for years, love it, I will be coming to Pattaya again next month and will be staying in the Golden Sea. Just wondering if there is a joiner fee in that hotel. Cheers.
get back to your roots, enjoy your life. smile have fun in life
You already did a video on the best hotel in Pattaya….SIAM VIEW….fantastic, so happy it’s still going strong!…….fond memories, stayed about 30 times in last 15 years…..
Hi, Eddy..., Excellent video and very informative, and "Thank you" for sharing the video ! ! * Eddy..., "What do I like about you ? ! !" * Answer: "You are honest and tell the truth about everything, including your troubles." alcohol is the best girlfriend you can have in Pattaya it never disappoints you
Once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic
I'm back in Pattaya/ Bang Saray in four weeks time. Staying at Adelphi Hotel and Amber Hotel..... Can't wait to be back in funtown. Totally agree with you Eddie on the booze situation. I'm 59 now and my days of 7-8 hour drinking sessions in Patts are long gone. I'll be having minimal booze, in fact I hear Heineken 0 is sold out there, so I'll be going down the no alcohol route quite a bit this visit.....👍
Best of luck, mate
I looked at Golden Sea last year, with a view to long term renting. 20k/month in the first building.
The outdoor terrace bar was previously a dumping ground, much better use of space. The gold painted dolphins and durian are new additions too. The reception area is very smart and the rooms I viewed very clean, if a little dated. Money is clearly being spent on public areas, I wonder if guest room improvements will follow?
As for the alcohol issue, I consider myself very fortunate that I can take it or leave it. I have beer in the fridge at condo, but never drink alone. Purely for nocturnal guests🤣🤣
Safe travels, Eddie.
Thanks for your info
Enjoying the videos eddy, I am heading out in April staying just near there in Nature view hotel for 850 bhat a night.
Great hotel that for the cost in a good location,i stayed in August and also at the Debua hotel next door has a treat..Have good holiday..
I and im sure many others would be interested and intrigued on a detailed story from you in relation to your move. For instance did you sell all your belongings, furniture, tools, kitchen ware, clothes. What have you kept? Photo albums some clothes. I think it would be a really intersting insight and would love to listen
Hi Eddy, have you managed to find any ginger beer over here ? When you started drinking Ginger beer it reminded me of when I was a kid and my mates mum used to make some lovely stuff. I moved here 4 months ago and recently discovered a recipe and I'm going to give it a go.... Stick to the beer...nothing stronger and no late nights with days off it and you will be ok. Welcome to retirement and Thailand.
I have been very fearful of alcohol, my whole life because I come from a family of alcoholics. alcohol even killed my sister and led to the death of my father. So I just do simple thing I only drink when I go out I don’t drink at home. I limit myself to two drinks after that I’m drinking, non-alcoholic beverages. I never let people pressure me into drinking more than the two drinks.
I’ve also learned sir, that sometimes you have to change the people that you hang out with and the environment you hang around when you quit drinking. It’s a lifestyle change and I’ve lost a lot of friends because of it. I hope you stay sober, because alcohol is a demon
All alcoholics go through the "gave it up" phase. It's a trick the alcohol plays on you. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Sad truth. I love the vids Eddie!!!
You do you,you look great keep em coming.
Thankyou
hi eddie ,keep doing what your doing .ive been to pattaya 4 times ,all bar based.this year i went to jomtiem for a bit exploring .hired motorbike and set my myself a challenge to go see things in thailand.had a nice time away from the craziness
Hi Ed. Just in my local boozer drinking English ale and eating home cooked sausage n mash, I look at my phone and see a slimmer, younger looking Edward Sweeny on my screen. I will hopefully watch this vid when I get home, IF I survive the mile walk home as UK now deemed as a target from much of the world....Blimey Ed, don't you feel safer in Thailand???? That fab country has little or no enemies I assume. 🙏🙏
Thailand is a good place to be. Good to hear from you, mate.
Good comments here, many negative comments from people who i am sure are people to keep clear of.
Only you know you mate but hopefully you don't go back to your old ways or you will not last long in Thailand. You've done so well. You've had a couple of weeks drinking now would be the time to start drinking less or stopping for a while. Not drinking in Thailand is a massive test for one's character. Some can do some can't. You need friends away from the nightlife. Start looking at other things to do at night. Good luck eddy I wish you the best 🙏
Thanks, mate
Steady, you know Pattaya has a great AA Program, meetings with guys just like you. I have been sober for almost 38 years and like you I totally enjoy traveling and women, you don't need to drink to enjoy your life. Also, retire and have drinking your plan is a plan for death, your better than that. There are always periods of control followed by periods of no control. I have lived in Pattaya for a year.
Eddie try the non alcoholic Heininken 0-0 taste's just like the real thing , I stopped drinking alcohol on 18th Jan last year when I was I Phuket after I got a bad chest pain that scared me to death, I spent the previous 17 days drinking 12 to 12 everyday on the beer and loved it , but on the18th I got a very scary shock and in three days time it will be exactly one year since I had a beer , and I don't miss it one bit , just try one bottle of Heineken 0-0 I think you might be quietly surprised , good luck
Non alcholic Guinness is the best but a bit heavy for the heat of Thailand .
Well done x
I do not dispute what you say, but I have not tried it , only the Heineken and Becks non alcoholic , I haven,t any intention of going back on the beer , but I think Eddie is definatly beginning to weaken ((((@@anthonydowling3356
Thank you Dianne xx@@diannepowell8770
Dont want to preach on alcohol in general but from my experience its that alcohol is okay its not okay when your life becomes unmanageable
As i have said to you Eddy over a year ago Alcohol in moderation indeed.Me being a Paramedic I see and deal with a lot and in the end most people say to me who need help should have stopped years ago and they have paid the price.People I have helped in the past come back on the radar and need help but then its to late like smokers a lost cause in the end they live on oxygen tanks as they suffer from emphysema and say should have given up years ago to late.
many get used drinking alcohol to relax after work...but retirement is a different stage in life....all the best 👍
You’re looking well 👏 I have issues about binge drinking in Thailand 😢 back in my home country I hardly drink at all 😅 You can get some serious depression the morning afterwards.
Great room and excellent price. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the tour. Skål.
That looks like a nice Hotel Ed. Very spacious room and nice Pool. I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn which is in View from your Balcony. It was a great Hotel with Breakfast included and under $50 USD a night. My only complaint there was that the Pool sucked. I’m a Pool guy. Next time I will give your Hotel here a try instead. I prefer the Soi Bukhao area nowadays
🤠Lovely Hotel Eddie 👍🧐There’s always 1 bird, that reminds me of Thailand👂the Asian koel😆such a distinctive call🎼

You are looking great Steady!
Oh thank you!
Hi Eddie nice to meet you outside golden sea while you were sitting on the wooden bench ,golden has a 2nd pool also with a gym room on the ground floor plus the WiFi is amazing the villas are part of the hotel I’ve been based at the golden sea for 2 months and when I go on a travel golden sea will store your luggage
Good to meet you
Not alcohol again
Nice hotel for a reasonable price. Been visiting Thailand since 1986. But my last time was I believe 2014. Just lost the urge and settled in a southern European country. Must admit watching your videos is rekindling my desire to go to SE Asia again.... Especially seeing Europe headed down the shitter..
It's difficult to be social and sober in a place where there are a lot of guys with nothing to do but get hammered every day! I've never been a big drinker, I drink one small can of beer every night around 6pm and it's only when I venture south to the coast that I go beyond that. I also don't have much of a tolerance for alcohol these days so, a few beers in the evenings when I'm on the coast is enough. But, it really all boils down to self discipline and moderation. Best of luck with your journey.
@@MikeLickorish I said I have a few beers in the evening when I venture down to the coast a couple of times a year. I've never been a big drinker because I don't like hangovers plus I exercise every day in addition to cycling 250-300kms a week.
when i was struggling with my drinking it was very similar. on again off again and not feeling well from it. It talks about this in the AA big book, "control" drinking- hard to do. Even when I stopped for a while going back to it, made matters worse. Finally I stopped for good and have not had a drink in 14 years. Thank God - it just got better and better for me the longer i stopped. It is a miracle in my life to be free of it. Just for me, not everyone feels that way. But for me it was the best choice I could have made.
Well done, mate
Hello Ed. .... keep doing what you doing.
Looking really healthy mate.
PS
Are you on the Grecian 2000? 😅
All the best with moderation plans , personally I was unable to moderate so quit totally some.3 years ago , now my brain has been reprogrammed and actually looks forward to a cold lime soda !
Eddie is looking haggard , be lucky if he lasts 6 months over there , until he returns to uk .
Wow this was right on the mark.
Really enjoy your videos Eddy
I appreciate that
Your in Dodge in a Hotel room. Once you get out of Dodge it won’t be as bad. Then once you set up for 6 months in SR or wherever it gets better if you don’t skimp on accommodation & get somewhere your comfortable & feels like a home. You will have your computer set up etc. You get into a bit of a route. There’s plenty to do to get some exercise. The internet alone can keep your brain occupied so boredom isn’t an issue. Loneliness can be though but a lot of that depends on your character. You can make Vid calls to keep in touch with family & friends back & just how great is that when we remember overseas calls costing an arm & a leg. You get & about for your exercise walks or push bike ride you get to know the people at your regular coffee stops & the girls were you get your laundry done. You go out for a drink 2 nights a week or whatever like going pub back home & just like the pub back home you meet people. You start to appreciate the little things.
Eddie
I went a year with no beer, felt great and loads of weight lost in fact 4 stone, then I started just having a few and in no time I was back on it, the only way is to not drink as it will start again, I went out all the time as I love being out and I drink pop or water, and in no time the weight has gone, I’m fit and I’m 55, not had a beer for 3 years but still have the pleasure of seeing my mates.
Your right about nighttime vlogs they are 2 a penny and there is nowt to see.
Good luck fighting the booze.
At the end of the day as long as you control the intake and it doesn't control you then I don't see a problem you have to enjoy life otherwise what's the point. Take care mate and I hope all goes well fir you
Thanks, mate
Youre doing great mate i drank twice last week one for three days and once for four days were only passong through go out and enjoy it mate😮😮
Don't have to quit completely. Couple of beers at night - no problem. Coke Zero and Singha Soda water with lime during the day when you're walking around in the heat works best. It's easy. You'll keep losing weight and develop your strength /stamina for more important things. You're doing great. Love seeing people make the right decisions with their lives.
2 beers a night goes against doctors' recommendations. 14 beers is 28 units of alcohol I think, and the recommended limit is 14 units. And they also recommend that that you don't have alcohol every day, as you need to let your system have a rest from it. Don't hate the messenger. Peace and love
Hello Eddie i hardly drink at all now mostly tea and coffee or soft drinks. If i do drink more than 3 pints i end up getting not much rest. I have a over active bladder i did have blood tests and all clear. So part of me doesn't want the bother of visiting the loo all night. Take it steady.😊
Moderation in all things Eddy man enjoy yourself ... yur a long time in that box.
I was sober for 6yrs. Twice. Then i drank for 15 year. Fun times. It cost me big. Bigh health. Big money. Divorce 3 times. Enjoy sober life eddie. Im 3 month sober. After 15 yrs drunk. The fun turned to hell.
Fun turned to hell, how? Health issues or did you fall off a two wheeler?
