I think Dr Jeff did the meeting the way he did because when nene went to him she basically told him that she didn't know what the problem was with her and the rest of them so he went down the line so that they would be able to say what the real issue was and then nene would know, share her side and they could have gone to the next person. Rox! I’ve also been on the break of tears… mostly due to life and the stresses of aiming for the best in my dancing as a professional. Yesterday, it finally came… I was listening to Mariah sing Camouflage and a couple of other songs (she sings so beautifully) and the tears came flowing. I was on the train but I had my summer shades on (they’re pretty big) and just let the tears flow. Felt great afterwards. Chanting more and redirecting my energy towards a happier me. Hope have a moment to just let go and let your feelings flow free. All the best!

Though I believe NeNe's breakdown was real and probably overdue, she has to realize that she can't have it both ways. You cannot always have a guard up, brush people off and have an attitude of "oh well, whatever, you don't matter" but yet cry about not being heard and being attacked. Yes everyone has a story and yes everyone has been through things; however, if you are not willing to reveal some of the shit that makes you human and vulnerable and are always on the defense then what is it you want people to do. Based on what I saw, I don't think Dr. Jeff handled the counseling session wrong. Yes it can seem as if NeNe was being attacked but if she is one of the main problems then that shit has to come out; however, had she waited and sat through it she would have seen the end result. No one wants to be people's problem but she created this. She choose this role so she has to own it. You can't be the villain and the hero, it doesn't work like that.

I read somewhere that you get 50k per episode for being a "friend to the show" and the actual housewives can stand to make more if they have other stuff going on and they allow them to film it. For example if Pheadra makes 300,000 an episode and she agreed to take the kids to see Apollo they will pay her like 400k that season. Maybe this is news to just me. About the half breed comment, I understand your point. I don't totally agree but it is what it is. From what I hear the altercation was longer and worse than what we actually saw. I think that as Kandi stated, Claudia was quick with the comebacks and was getting Nene together. Nene, frustrated, went for the usual whore and then half breed insults because she had no other come backs. Was she going to call Claudia ugly, old, nappy headed, etc. I wonder what would of happened if Claudia would have countered half breed with monkified bitch or Magilla Gorilla or some such racially derogatory statement? I'm black and I've heard these turns used in arguments before by the way. We all know racial slurs are offensive, but it is what it is I guess.
I can remember when I was a little kid someone called me "white girl" or "half breed" and started picking me for no reason (I'm light but not directly mixed with anything), and it hurt. So I called them something equally offensive and everyone within earshot acted like I had insulted Jesus himself. They completely ignored what was said about me. I didn't know what to call it at the time, but I realized there was a double standard, so from that point on, I didn't respond when it happened. That's how I learned to handle it. Catching up on blogs! I never knew Greg went to Todd's mom's funeral. Cool! I really enjoyed the reunion. I thought it was the best one yet. Nene's just got alot family issues to deal with. I was shocked at Kandi's behavior though. Great vid!
Actually, Porsha wasn't the only non- housewife at a reunion show. Luann from NYC appeared at the reunion and wasn't a housewife. Porsha needs to remain fired, she's the epitome of an airhead.
I am rejoicing and celebrating that this season is over. I felt like screaming Happy New Year and blowing noisemakers, I'm just over it. Although this season was not as dark and miserable (and violent) as last season, I just can't with this particular cast anymore. To me it feels like we have had the same women having the same arguments for the last 3 seasons. Unless they make some major cast changes, I won't be returning for season 8. At this point, I don't even care who stays or goes, but they need a lot of new blood on this show, it needs to be freshened up like the other Housewives shows. Atlanta is the only franchise that keeps generally the same cast season after season. I will continue to watch my fave CZcamsrs and their reviews (Rox, Bondy, Ashley Miller, Shawn Bradley, Much Love from KY and Erica Dinero Kelley) but as far as the show itself, I think I'm done.

I think Dr Jeff did the meeting the way he did because when nene went to him she basically told him that she didn't know what the problem was with her and the rest of them so he went down the line so that they would be able to say what the real issue was and then nene would know, share her side and they could have gone to the next person. Rox! I’ve also been on the break of tears… mostly due to life and the stresses of aiming for the best in my dancing as a professional. Yesterday, it finally came… I was listening to Mariah sing Camouflage and a couple of other songs (she sings so beautifully) and the tears came flowing. I was on the train but I had my summer shades on (they’re pretty big) and just let the tears flow. Felt great afterwards. Chanting more and redirecting my energy towards a happier me.

Though I believe NeNe's breakdown was real and probably overdue, she has to realize that she can't have it both ways. You cannot always have a guard up, brush people off and have an attitude of "oh well, whatever, you don't matter" but yet cry about not being heard and being attacked. Yes everyone has a story and yes everyone has been through things; however, if you are not willing to reveal some of the shit that makes you human and vulnerable and are always on the defense then what is it you want people to do. Based on what I saw, I don't think Dr. Jeff handled the counseling session wrong. Yes it can seem as if NeNe was being attacked but if she is one of the main problems then that shit has to come out; however, had she waited and sat through it she would have seen the end result. No one wants to be people's problem but she created this. She choose this role so she has to own it. You can't be the villain and the hero, it doesn't work like that.

I read somewhere that you get 50k per episode for being a "friend to the show" and the actual housewives can stand to make more if they have other stuff going on and they allow them to film it. For example if Pheadra makes 300,000 an episode and she agreed to take the kids to see Apollo they will pay her like 400k that season. Maybe this is news to just me. This is what they did to that Italian lady from the other housewives show

About the half breed comment, I understand your point. I don't totally agree but it is what it is. From what I hear the altercation was longer and worse than what we actually saw. I think that as Kandi stated, Claudia was quick with the comebacks and was getting Nene together. Nene, frustrated, went for the usual whore and then half breed insults because she had no other come backs. Was she going to call Claudia ugly, old, nappy headed, etc. I wonder what would of happened if Claudia would have countered half breed with monkified bitch or Magilla Gorilla or some such racially derogatory statement? I'm black and I've heard these turns used in arguments before by the way. We all know racial slurs are offensive, but it is what it is I guess.

So I called them something equally offensive and everyone within earshot acted like I had insulted Jesus himself. They completely ignored what was said about me. I didn't know what to call it at the time, but I realized there was a double standard, so from that point on, I didn't respond when it happened. That's how I learned to handle it. If Claudia had come back with something, she'd be hated more than she already is, and no one would forgive it or forget it. You're right - it is what it is.

I, personally, felt that NeNe's "breakthrough" was an act. I said on the RHOA fb fan page last night that is was an Oscar-worthy performance. If she was actually being genuine, then I sincerely apologize. However, like I said on fb, too, that just a couple of weeks ago, she was bashing dafuq out of some of the ladies on Watch What Happens Live. The same old Nene. And fear of abandonment I believe she has. I mean, just by how territorial she is with friends shows that. Actually, Porsha wasn't the only non- housewife at a reunion show. Luann from NYC appeared at the reunion and wasn't a housewife. Porsha needs to remain fired, she's the epitome of an airhead.
I am rejoicing and celebrating that this season is over. I felt like screaming Happy New Year and blowing noisemakers, I'm just over it. Although this season was not as dark and miserable (and violent) as last season, I just can't with this particular cast anymore. To me it feels like we have had the same women having the same arguments for the last 3 seasons. Unless they make some major cast changes, I won't be returning for season 8. At this point, I don't even care who stays or goes, but they need a lot of new blood on this show, it needs to be freshened up like the other Housewives shows. Atlanta is the only franchise that keeps generally the same cast season after season. Thank you Rox for telling the truth about the Nene/Claudia argument. If you in the mist of a fight things happen that shouldn't it just happened. Claudia is living on that Kenya stupidity when she run off at the mouth call ppl nasty names then when someone else go in on her then they are dirty or hitting below the belt. Ppl fail to realize that there are NO RULES when in the battle.
