Yes, with the right patter and performance this trick really amazes people. And no slight of hand skills required at all! I just love tricks of that kind!
after the cards are shuffled,do you put them in all red and black order,to make it look like your mixing the cards even more, before asking what cards are what,or can you just leave them mixed, and ask spectator what cards are black and what are red,and put them in order then?
I had heard of this trick before, but had never seen it performed, or if I would be able to pull it off myself. But it's a cool trick, and you did a good job of explaining it. Nice job.
a good explanation with nifty handling that avoids the usual preparatory set-up. One aspect of this effect that most overlook is in overselling the effect by dealing out the entire deck making it 'perfectly impossible'. I suggest keeping a few cards in the hand, revealing the effect worked with the cards to which the spectator directed the lay down. For another variation that differs from the rest yet amplifies the performer's card control mastery, refer to Derek Dingle's Out of This World with prediction of exactly how many cards will be in the wrong piles [name of his effect escapes me but should be easy to find]. It's in his Complete Works and has a fairly direct title. The separation occurs but not perfectly, however a prediction [number card] matches the number of cards misplaced giving redemption to the performer, the spectator and the effect itself.
lol thnx for the vid man... i saw this guy do this trick to someone ones and it was awesome... now that i know how to do it... it looks simple and easy :)
A very nice and simple trick - have been doing a similar trick for years and it works all the time, it is the patter and performance that makes it good - good job.
If you see closely, when the magician shuffles the card he puts all red cards faced down and all black cards faced up. He also puts the red card on one side and black card on the other side as you can see he turns the deck around when he is putting the different coloured cards in. so then all the red cards are facing down in one pile and all the black cards are facing up, also together. If you also look closely he turns half of the deck over (the black deck) and so it's half red and half black.
How do you set up the deck without them noticing you do it? In the beginning you have to show that the order is random in the deck. How do you get all the reds and blacks together without making it obvious?
this is a variation of another trick i had seen before but i can't remember it's name...i think this way it's better because you have all these cards mixed...really nice trick man...keep it up...
@AeXeLeRaTioN Thanks! I believe Chance Zero is a variation of this. If I am correct, out of this world is the original form of this idea! I could be wrong though! ;-)
Which video is that, can you give me a link? Cause in the one I just watched they shuffled the cards beforehand and then he quite obviously just replaced the deck with one that is like the one shown here...
@jtibo1 i think pipri45654 meant that the deck was spread and the person could take any card they wanted, not in order.. so even if it was separated before hand, it wouldn't be after the guy picked cards randomly
there is a new version of the same trick that David Blaine did on his special called "real or magic" and it is very easy to figure out, if you could make a tutorial on that different version i am positive everyone would deeply appreciate it. :)
dammmmmm. that trick is old school... i remember seein it just once back in 1999.. my buddy had shown me how to do it but couldnt remember... this is a very original trick.. thanks bro for tutorial..
@pipiri45654 Same principle, but you set the deck up before hand with the colors seperated and no matter where they put the first 26 cards, they will all be red, and the last 26 all black.
What I don't get here is that, in the video, as performed by Mr. Oz himself, he shuffles the deck beforehand, now how would I know whether all I place on the deck are red cards or black?
After switching it up you can also give the deck to the other person so they can do the guessing all themselves. The flipping part is not going to be noticed unless you do it fast and obvious.
If you refere to the performance of Glenn Falkenstein; he sets the deck up right in front of the spectators within the trick he does first. So he uses one trick to set up the one that follows. Very deceptive!
Ok, I got it all what you said, but what if there are red cards mixed with black ones? if cards are all randomly putted without you even looking at them, you can change them when you turn them over, but what if a red card is mixed with the ones which should be the black side? I mean it's easier to cheat if they're all together with just switching the 2 groups, but if one is in the wrong place? even switching the groups if a single card is in the wrong group that would be harder to change..:/ how?
he does his ambitious card trick look that up and you should find a good tutorial. and then at the end for the kicker he rips up the 2 and puts it in her hand then shows the camera its the 2 later, and when he does that he puts a folded (not ripped) 2 in her hand and then he makes her squeeze it and says he repaired it. its a great trick and if you learn it well it will impress :)
This guy's concept is correct. No matter if its an audience or the magician, the arrangement of the deck is right. The only thing this guy missed is the preparation of the deck before the trick. When you or an audience shuffle the normal deck, after the shuffle, you have to do something to discretely prepare the deck for this trick where a bunch of it is red and the other black. Something like a side trick before the actual trick.
So the spectator can hold and deal the cardsbthemselves go through the deck and turn one over before the trick, in other words the last one of the red section and have that as a "marker card". When they get to it, stop them and use that as the new red, then just take any black as the change and everything is good.
i think i watched that before this after i watched this it was simple to guess what he did XD only one question how did he get them to flip after he got them flip-flopped XD
Yes, with the right patter and performance this trick really amazes people. And no slight of hand skills required at all! I just love tricks of that kind!
Fantastic effect! Thanks for this one!
Thanks for the card trick and also for giving a tutorial which I understood well. Thanks.
Out of all the people I tried to learn this from you are the only good teacher!
after the cards are shuffled,do you put them in all red and black order,to
make it look like your mixing the cards even more, before asking what cards
are what,or can you just leave them mixed, and ask spectator what cards are
black and what are red,and put them in order then?

A very nice and simple trick - have been doing a similar trick for years and it works all the time, it is the patter and performance that makes it good - good job.

@WickedCanRest Thanks for being so tentative to my video! lol ;-)
Awesome video, thanks!

Great card trick!

@phza1 Thanks for watching!;-)
A very good video - the tricky part I guess is sorting them on the fly, esp if you have them cut and shuffle the deck.
@metalwaffle94 Thanks for watching and commenting! ;-)
But how/when do you arrange the cards in the right order if you don#t prep it beforehand?
good trick! I wouldn't manage to get it from the first time. Congartulations!
very good card trick. works well.
Thanks, that was awesome
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video!
Wow, this is so damn Amazing!
Subscribed..... so awesome
awesome!!!! thanks!
Thanks bro cool tricks keep it up
Nice trick!
You make the best videos and use the best tricks thanks. One thing though at one time you said black but put it on the red pile.
Awsome, briliant
this is a variation of another trick i had seen before but i can't remember it's name...i think this way it's better because you have all these cards mixed...really nice trick man...keep it up...
dude thank you so much..this is like the best trick yet seen..magicians in my country do this trick on shows..
@AeXeLeRaTioN Thanks! I believe Chance Zero is a variation of this. If I am correct, out of this world is the original form of this idea! I could be wrong though! ;-)

vry nice! good work....

The time I saw someone else do this they had the person shuffle them first. What do you do in this case?
awesome card trick
my daughters friendd were amazed when she did it! thanks :)
it blasted my mind. yeah......
cool video man!
awesome!
Is a great card tricks i really like it
Nice trick :P
there is a new version of the same trick that David Blaine did on his special called "real or magic" and it is very easy to figure out, if you could make a tutorial on that different version i am positive everyone would deeply appreciate it. :)
Epic!
Good ones from good Magicians they always fall for.
Thankyou so much that is awesome :D
Great tutorial thank bro

very smart trick that is so awesome dude
After switching it up you can also give the deck to the other person so they can do the guessing all themselves. The flipping part is not going to be noticed unless you do it fast and obvious.
exactly, he uses the drunken shuffle to perfection in this case
nice trick mate
Your explanation is good
I noticed it when you showed it the first time. I was like "dafuq that was in the wrong order.."
If you refere to the performance of Glenn Falkenstein; he sets the deck up right in front of the spectators within the trick he does first. So he uses one trick to set up the one that follows. Very deceptive!
Thanks, do you know how to do the trick David Blaine did to Tyra Banks ?, i'm dying to learn it :)
were do u get bicycle cards
Ok, I got it all what you said, but what if there are red cards mixed with black ones? if cards are all randomly putted without you even looking at them, you can change them when you turn them over, but what if a red card is mixed with the ones which should be the black side? cool trick but how do you get all the red cards after you show its all mixed
Oh, I knew what it was for, but he's really good
pritty awsome!
so the key is to separate the red and black while you're doing the trick? and then do that "free choice" thing?
sounds harder to do than it seems
It is a classic trick. Derren brown did a really good version which is also worth checking out if you can.
good one mate
he does his ambitious card trick look that up and you should find a good tutorial. and then at the end for the kicker he rips up the 2 and puts it in her hand then shows the camera its the 2 later, and when he does that he puts a folded (not ripped) 2 in her hand and then he makes her squeeze it and says he repaired it. its a great trick and if you learn it well it will impress :)

i tried that my first time and bam it worked nice!!
pretty cool
nice trick
very nice trike
what do we do when they say blue?
thnx!
old trick but always good effect =)
So the spectator can hold and deal the cardsbthemselves go through the deck and turn one over before the trick, in other words the last one of the red section and have that as a "marker card". When they get to it, stop them and use that as the new red, then just take any black as the change and everything is good.
LOL at that two kin of Diamonds at 4:27
@jtibo1 Thats no problem, lol, take your time, theres no hurry :)
it is good easy to understand and easy to do, if someone say all black or all red, tell them cards deck has half red and half black.
cool
you are the best and you are really nice :DDDDDD
interesting... interesting indeed
I completely stand corrected and take back what i said. I rewatched and saw what you meant thanks for your tutorial. He did set up the deck
@169gAbZ No prob! ;-)
yes!!
@Connor664 Thanks! ;-)
so what happens when you give the deck to the spectator and let them set the cards down themselve instead of you picking them out yourself
really easy. you're prepasring th trick in the moment
i think i watched that before this
after i watched this it was simple to guess what he did XD
only one question how did he get them to flip after he got them flip-flopped XD
sick trick! u should be like dynamo
