I would like ask you about the Genos2: in the Style setting section there is the choice of Dynamic control, I can choose on or off, while on the Genos1 I could choose the keyboard dynamics based on the pressure of the keys and it worked really well. However, this does not happen in Genos2 (updated to 1.04). Has something changed or have the Yamaha engineers forgotten this function? Greetings from Italy.
Unfortunately, Genos 2 no longer has the same Dynamic Controll option and it works in a different way, via Knob Controll. It has nothing to do with v version 1.04, it's been like that since j Genos 2 was released.
Hi, I don't have information for that. You should do a test with quality equipment. However, if there is a difference in favor of Genos, it should not be felt on ordinary, average sound systems.
Of course, that little thing didn't affect my purchase at all. I have been playing music professionally for more than 30 years and the arranger is my basic instrument. It makes sense to me to buy a new instrument regardless of whether the upgrade is worth the investment.
@@CasperVideo I always wonder if the people you play for, and I saw some off your videos doing that at parties, hear the difference off the new and old voices. And what I say before you do a lot off fine tuning with styles. So for you have 150+ more styles with the Genos2??? Maybe when the Midi connections with a daw are more smoothly maybe I consider to buy Thx for the response.
I'm sure the people I play for don't hear the difference at all. I'm about to go to a gig and if I brought the Tyros4 now, they wouldn't hear the difference again. Maybe only some would notice the difference in the color of the keyboard :-) I didn't buy the new model because of others, but solely because of myself and because of a responsible approach to my work. @@CasperVideo And than you have an advantage against a hobby player. At least here in the Netherlands. You can reclaim your VAT. And write off the purchase as necessary for your business operations.

Pozdrav, razlika u zvuku postoji ali ne može se reči da je značajna. Tim više, onaj tko nije svirao "prvi Genos" razliku će još teže osjetiti. Zato će oni kojima je primaran zvuk radije kupiti stari Genos. Međutim, razlika u cijeni se ne stvara samo na osnovu boljeg zvuka. Genos2 ima dosta toga novoga, a jedna od poboljšanja je i brzina upisivanja paketa koju sam prikazao u videu. Svirao sam Genos od njegovog izlaska na tržište i nisam primjetio nikakvo zastajkivanje u radu. Ono se nije manifestiralo čak ni kod pretraživanja materiala koji je već indeksiran. Ako postoje razlike, one se vjerojatno mjere u miliseknudama koje naše oko ne može niti zabilježiti.

Actually, I have been at démonstration of Genos 2 and ask some questions which have been without answer, no sorry, the answer has been that I am only the 0,01% of people who ask these questions. here below my personal opinion Honestly I don't believe that for some software modification I have to spent this amount of money. They should work more hard if they wont regain the confiance of many users to fix/ modernize the architecture .
Dear Gennaro. When I decided to buy Genos2, I didn't even know about the information about the loading speed. That characteristic is not that important, but I made a video because I see that no one mentions it anywhere. I like to be unique with content on YT. I bought Genos2 for my own pleasure, money is not that important to me here. I would also like the Genos2 to have a lot of things that I'm missing, but it would be unrealistic to expect that from a product that was made for mass production. However even me I really don't care about money, actually I have two GENOS and some other staffs which compose at my both homes 2 complete studios. The issue is that after 6 years I was expecting a true study and change mother board, processor, (the actual has philosophie 1986 and I don't want report all challenges which they should have reworked) Actually I will move to something else and I hope you will post a video of my next staff which will integrate my music passion. You write the speed of loading and some minor other things. Is that worth the price of 4K.?? With trade-in of your old Genos!

Hi Casper how did you convert the expansion packs for genos 2 because in my case is not working its only compatible with genos1
Unfortunately, Pack (cpi) cannot be converted.
