REMOVING A MAGNOLIA TREE

- We had too much fun removing this tree! Magnolia trees are probably my favorite trees to remove. I went up the tree and limbed the majority of the tree and came down and helped my ground man with the clean up, then I went back up and took the rest down.

Watched your 2 pine vid last night and just cut down a 50 ft magnolia yesterday that was leaning into my neighbors yard. The fence was replaced on Monday and had been working on it for several days tying off ropes to come-a-longs and a steel cable to keep it from going back the other way. Used my 28 ft ladder to limb it back on their side and my notch wasn't real good so had to chip and clean up the wedge. Have cut over 100 trees in my days, mostly southern pines but other than using a ladder to tie it off (2 ropes) have never climbed like you did these pines. Great work and amazing footage showing you work. Thanks for posting this vid...BTW I'm 67 years old...

Love my 3 ported 2511t s...so much easier on my old tendons after 30 years cutt8ng and slaveing wothout equipment...it's best chainsaw made ..no comparison for the side handle and size balance...I run stihl polesaw chain and bar 14 ..works great they get dull fast in the brush on the ground but up tree they stay fine. Usually..unless it's full of gunk....what size pick up and trailer is that you have the dump ..??
I have a Dodge ram 3500 a 16 x 7 x 3 dump trailer. I built the little chip box on it for the chips because I don’t have a chipper truck at the moment.

It's a .043 micro tiny it's not supposed to throw big chips it's smooth Like butter one hand ed....I run 3 ported with stihl 0.43 polesaw chain and bar...there safety chain..but they cut great ..5 years now zero issues except I fences and that breaks chains
Also magnolia can be hard wood on the log parts I've had it.....043..micro ...
Magnolia s suck ...nasty trees . Pole spikes dont stick well ..
