I've always struggled with self love and acceptance, but one of the nicest things that I do is see my gummy smile in the mirror and feel happy that I can even smile at myself. Didn't even know I had an 'issue', since then I just consciously keep my upper lip stiff when I smile. Problem solved, kinda?

I had a gummy smile, I had a slightly over grown maxilla and way to much gum tissue... Unfortunately I didn't know getting surgery to fix it can put you at a higher risk of gingivitis. I miss my gummy smile now.
I had some of gum show in my smile for a couple weeks when I was around 11 or 12 mostly because I didn’t brush my teeth when I was younger and my gums in the upper left corner of my mouth swole up and caused a lot of pain, luckily my parents made me brush my teeth and take my mouthwash and it ended up fine
