Faro | Dia Criança

As atividades de comemoração do “Dia da Criança” tiveram lugar, este ano, no dia 29 de maio, no Jardim da Alameda, juntando cerca de 2 mil participantes, entre crianças provenientes dos estabelecimentos escolares (E.B.1) do concelho e respetivos acompanhantes e entidades envolvidas.
Especial destaque foi para o lançamento da nova aventura dos Farrobinhas, intitulada “Bio Resíduos, o Novo Desafio”, que a FAGAR e a Câmara Municipal de Faro editam. Estes livros, que apelam sempre a temáticas de sensibilização para a preservação do meio ambiente, cidadania, respeito pelo outro e foram entregues a todos os meninos e meninas das escolas E.B.1 do concelho, continuando uma coleção que já vai no seu 17º livro.
Estiveram presentes no evento diversas entidades, com propostas de atividades lúdico-pedagógicas muito diversificadas.

This year's "Children's Day" activities took place on 29 May in Jardim da Alameda, bringing together around 2,000 participants, including children from the municipality's schools (E.B.1), their carers and the organisations involved.
A special highlight was the launch of the Farrobinhas' new adventure, entitled "Bio Resíduos, o Novo Desafio" (Bio-Waste, the New Challenge), published by FAGAR and Faro City Council. These books, which always raise awareness of environmental preservation, citizenship and respect for others, were handed out to all the children in the municipality's primary schools, continuing a collection in its 17th year.
Various organisations were present at the event, offering a wide range of recreational and educational activities,
