    Hello
I had trouble with the first two shire and first 3 volcano colours, being gummy, pale, and wrong. It was tubes, pans, dots.
A lot of people had a bad batch.
    Hope that helps you.
    I contacted Schimincke.
    In kindred spirit,

I suspect perhaps I got a bad batch chart haha. I have seen others with the volcano yellow swatches and the seem so bright and vibrant.

@@bazutaartstudio Yes I saw rich pretty colours too. The first ones were okay, it was perhaps the second batches, I think a new person did the mixes incorrectly at the Schmincke factory, and then it didn't go through their quality control. See recent Jacksons art UK, you tube video about Schmincke factory visit.

The shire blue would be so lovely as a large scale body of water, the Shire green in simmer fields! I really love these seperating pigments.😍

yes, they really are fun to swatch. If i had the money I would probably by so many more tubes of paint to play with lol

Awesome video! And yea any colors with the new PY159 and PR108 are harder to rewet so the dots dont really allow you an accurate representation...for example: the shire yellow is a beautiful yellowish gray with a slight purple undertones. Either way tho i still really loved this video, I love how you discuss your thoughts on each color after swatching-simply awesome. Thanks so much for sharing and much love 💜💚

yes, sort of. It was a watercolour sketch book that I bought at my local art store. The unfortunately don't cary them any more, my I measured out all the little rectangles and turned it into a swatch book. I'm going to have to make y next one from scratch as I haven't found a suitable replacement yet.
